Thread: Trimspa Baby!

1. #1

Default Trimspa Baby!

Sorry for the cheesy name lol. But I was thinking about trying Trimspa to lose like 10-20 pounds. I know there are other threads about this. But I guess I'm looking for something more up to date.

For people that do use it:

How much weight did you lose?
How long did it take?
Any reccomendations to increase weight loss??

I just wanted to know before i go out and actually buy it. Thanks!

I use it for energy. Irt really doesnt help with weight loss. It curbs your appetite a bit because of the hoodia but I havent lost any weight on it. Its expensive too. I wouldnt waste my money if its for weight loss but if you want try a month supply and see how it works for you.

Well, that's just not the right question, is it CK?

Q) How much weight did you lose?

A) 2lbs

Q) How long did it take?

A) 2 months! (because I was an idiot and thought it was a miracle pill)

Q) Any reccomendations to increase weight loss??

A) Diet and exercise, it's the only way (unless you want to be an unattractive junkie and dead in a dumpster eventually)

I took trimspa and lost about 10 pounds but it made me jittery and nauseous. Plus when I went off, I pretty much gained it all back.
I don't know, I am one of those people who like trying new things, I have tried a few different kinds of diet pills. The only ones that worked for me were Stacker 2's. I took them one summer when I was waitressing and I lost about 3 sizes..... just from working and taking them. Of course diet is also integral.....but I only ate once a day and it was always something I liked.

Where people go wrong is when they see this is a magic pill for weight loss. These are supplements meant to be taken in conjunction with a healthy diet and excercise plan.

But, IMO, if you were following a healthy regimen anyway, these supplements are really not neccesary, are they?

It seems like they fool you into thinking they work when it was the tried and true method all along.

These products are usually a rip off.

I suggest drinking green tea several times a day and adding a little extra bran to your diet along with 30-60 min of exercise 4-6 days a week.

If you do this for 2 months you should drop 10 lbs.

However, you must do at least 1/2 to 3/4 of the above regularly to KEEP it off.

Weird answer that works - eat more! Seriously, If you eat something small (piece of fruit, yogurt, etc.) every 2-3 hours you'll lose weight. Of course exercise helps too.

The only thing I've done thats worked has been the tried and true, eat less move more.

I use Fitday to keep track of everything I eat, and the journal function to keep track of the good things I've done and the areas that need improvement. , and Calorie King helps to find the caloric values in some food. The best thing I ever did was find out my BMR and keep track of my caloric intake. Your BMR will differ depending on which source you get it from, but a google search for "BMR Calculator" can help ya out.

Drink lots of water. If you don't like water, try 0-calorie flavoured water or low calorie crystal light. If you drink soda, cutting that out can cut a significant amount of calories instantly. You can go cold turkey or try the diet options available. Tea is also zero-calorie and helps you feel full, has taste, and if you drink green tea, there's extra weight loss benefits, as well.

Increase your fibre intake--1 serving of all-bran buds (that's 1/3 a cup) has 12 g of fibre! Hot damn!

Try pilates. It's low impact, not all that sweaty, doesn't take too long, and easy to do at home if you get some tapes. It really helps tone things up. Whatever you do for exercise, make sure you enjoy it. If it feels like a chore you'll avoid it. Make sure you consider exercise essential. If you think of it as just something to do if you have time, you won't do it.

Brush your teeth after your last meal/snack of the day to stop you from eating more. Chew sugarfree gum to keep your mouth busy and minty. (You know how the flavor of mint just doesn't mix well with a lot of foods?)

Eat more fruits and vegetables. Keep baby carrots and chopped celery on hand for when you get hungry. Read nutrition labels, they are your friend. Make sure you are getting what your body needs, but not too much fat or calories.

Keep track of your weight with daily weigh-ins. Yeah, it doesn't sound pleasant, but it makes it easier to keep track of how much weight your losing. Be sure to do it at the same time every day (In the morning after you pee is best) Inconsistencies of gaining 1-3 lbs is normal, but if it lasts longer than 2-3 days (and it's not because of monthly bloating or anything like that) you should probably look at your weight loss regimen.

Make realistic, healthy goals, and set goal increments as opposed to one big number. for example, say you want to lose 30 pounds, break it into 10 pound increments.

Hmm.. all I can think of right now, basically, there are no healthy, easy shortcuts to weightloss, but then, really, it's not all that difficult either. It just takes a bit of effort, and a few lifestyle changes.
Good luck!
