    Default Fake nails and typing

Ok, so I've never worn fake nails before, but lately I've been thinking about trying them. The only thing that hold me back is worrying about not being able to type as well. I'm not that fast to begin with at about 30 wpm and I need to do a lot of typing for my school work.

So any advice on just how much fake nails affect your typing abilites? Does length matter? I was thinking about starting out with some shorter french tips.

    Thanks ladies.

It`s hard on a laptop where the keys are flat but on a desktop computer with a traditional keyboard your nails just kind of slip inbetween the keys, mine are about 1/4 of an inch past my fingertips and i have no problems. It would probably be a good idea to start off a bit shorter and get usto it though.

I actually just got them for the first time on Saturday. I use a lap-top and I've been doing pretty well so far. I actually have had to adjust my writing grip on pens, but maybe that's just me I'm pretty much in love with them. Good luck,
    Kirbie

I just got them about a month ago and like viviana said, awkward at first, then you don't notice. If they get too long you might have a problem but if they are not that long you can type just fine.

I do them shorter while I'm in school, because it's really hard for me to type and write with them too long. I also have to adjust the way that I hold my pen when I write because if they're too long it feels like they are cutting into my other fingers when I'm holding a pen.
Take the road less traveled- just make sure you have a map.

I've got them and it hasn't slowed my typing down...my papers are as efficient as ever. But I do keep them fairly short, as far as fake nails go. When they get too long, I have trouble taking out my contact lenses.

About every other month or so, you'll need to get your nails cut down. I actually got mine cut down yesterday. Once they grow to long, you tend to have alot more typing errors.

    Hope that helps,
    Cin
