OK, Im not dancing to the Austin Powers theme song...tho everyone sings it when I walk by...but Im trying to think of songs that would go with outfit...
I dance to techno/dance/rock but not really old rock... dunno - any suggestions?

Aqua - Barbie Girl
Sarah Vaughan - Fever (Adam Freeland Remix)
Nancy Sinatra or Jessica Simpson - These Boots Are Made For Walkin' (Of course if you have the go-go boots too.)
Benny Benassi - California Dreaming 2005
Hope this helps without being too "shagadellic".

"Beautiful Stranger" by Madonna comes to my mind with this outfit. It has a touch of 60's psychedelic synthesizers.

In a way, that's Austin Powers too. It's on The Spy Who Shagged Me soundtrack.Originally Posted by onlythebest

She didn't say she wouldn't dance to anything off the soundtrack, she just said not the theme song.

My aplogies. Just pointing it out, that's all.

I was thinking The Steve Miller Band, "Joker".
I don't know if you like Ludacris but his song "Number One Spot" kind of has Austin Power's music mixed into it.

Hmmm..Interesting outfit..Very cool retro look.
Lets see....
Earth Wind & Fire - Shining Star
Gapp Band - You Dropped a Bomb on Me
Outkast - Spottieodttiedopalicious **Weird name but cool song...Kinda slow with some cool sounding horns in the Hook**
Bee Gees - Stayin Alive
KC & The Sunshine Band - Boogie Shoes
Peggy Lee & Tommy Dorsey - Why Dont You Do Right **Dunno bout this one...Its the song that Jessica Rabbit Sang in the movie Who frammed roger rabbit..Very slow and Sexy...**
Strawberry Alarm Clock - Insence & peppermint **Same time period as Austin powers will fit the outfit...Dunno bout the dancing you decide..**
The Beatles - Come Together
The Kinks - I Need You **Maybe**
The Zombies - Time Of The Season ** Another Period song Will fit the outfit**
War or INXS - Spill The Wine **INXS's version is a little faster than War's**
OK I know that some of these may not be suitable for dancing but I am slightly intoxicated and they all sound good to me...Either way they are all cool tunes. Sorry if I posted a bunch of crap and wasted your time...Cheers!!!!
That and the theme to the powerpuff girls sprang to mind right awayOriginally Posted by logan820
Thanks everyone! Ill get to downloadin - I only recognize a few of the songs mentioned!

"Groove is in the Heart" is a great idea...
Have you ever tried dancing to the B-52s?
"Planet Claire' would be perfect for this outfit, I think.
Or maybe Jimi Hendrix' "Foxy Lady". It's very old but doesn't sound too dated like a lot of other old rock, and probably never will.

There's also a version of "these boots are made for walkin'" by KMFDM simply called "Boots". If you find it, try and get the "Bombs Remix". It's edgier than the other versions of it, more tech-industrio-rock.
Deee-Lite was my first thought, too.
waffles are just pancakes with little squares on them.

Wait...no one said "Hippie Chick" by SoHo?

KMFDM are one of my favorites.
I use a remix of "We Will Rock You" by them on a near nightly basis, the "Boots" track sounds great, and I'm on my way to get it now, lol...

Theres a mix of Lords Of Acid's Am I Sexy? that has a very 60s go-go beat... cant remeber the specific mix though!
Number of times Rickrolled on stage: 6

Marasmus ... "Ladies don't fart. They butt-laugh."
Marasmus says, "Oh no, that wasn't gas, it was merely a rectal chuckle."
Marek says, "A friend of mine got punched in the face by a dominatrix stripper about two weeks ago and I thought of you."

It's from their remix CD "Expand Your Head.com"
It would be perfect for the outfit, if a little tough to dance to for most.
There's also some other good tracks on this CD, such as the "Rough Sex" remix (I hate the original, but like this a lot), another tough one to dance to but very energetic--the ones that like this, love it.
"Spank My Booty" remix is good too, not silly at all like the original, lots of sex noise and spanking, etc. in background.
But these two aren't as good for the outfit.

My hunny is a DJ so I asked him...
Somebody to Love - Saltshaker mix
Roadhouse Blues - Crystal Method vs. The Doors
Dare - Gorillaz
Feel Good Inc - Gorillaz
... He said they're "upbeat bright songs"
see what you think.
I instantly thought of "Groove Is in the Heart." I would also consider using a mash-up that I have called "Work It Out with a Foxy Lady." The music is "Foxy Lady," but instead of Hendrix singing, it's Beyonce singing "Work It Out." It catches people off-guard.

I must have this, lol--so it's off to Limewire with me...Originally Posted by Yekhefah
