I really find it hard too to get back on my game when I'm not doing well, both when I feel that I have been playing a good game and when I haven't been. I just love it when I approach a customer and then have nothing to say! And no matter how you try to hide your feelings, it always shows.

I like that whole customer mode idea. I think I might do that next time.

It is just one night, or even a couple. I'm glad that you're next couple of nights went better.

The T shirt promo can be ok if worked properly. I worked a an upscale atmosphere club in Yuma AZ a few years back (the clientele wan't necessarily upscale though). As most of you know, table dances in AZ are $10. They were $10 at this club when all other AZ clubs besides Christie's were $5.

The owners helped us push the dances and several times a night would do a T shirt or drink special dance. The deal, buy 2 dances ($20) and get a free T shirt. We kept $10 and the club kept $10. I ALWAYS sold my shirts. If a girl hadn't sold the special, the DJ would announce, "C'mon guys Tina and Paris are still available, one of you guys needs to get a dance from them", and it usually worked.

I priced getting promo T shirts with club logos on them and they run around $4 or so per shirt, so the club getting $10 and the girl getting $10 is fair. And 50% of the time you can sell the guys on another dance if you work it right. The key is to run this promo when money ISN'T flowing well on the floor, AND when there is anough of a crowd for all the dancers to be able to land a sale.

Not in my current club, but in one I used to work at. Did I love selling the shirt? Nope Especially when I was with a customer that was gonna get a dance from me anyway

I prefer not to, but If I really like a club, trying to sell a shirt once in a while it's not a big deal. Sometimes it gives you an excuse to get your ass moving on the floor

As for customers be bothered by that, well... the management knows what it's doing.

First, don't quit ..keep trying.....focus on you and what you are doing, don't focus on what others are doing or how well they may be doing.Zone all that out.Try drinking some water and not drink any alcohol. It sounds like you were just discouraged and your energy level was down.Drinking lots of water will bring your energy level back up.Concentrate on what you do and having a fun time socializing with customers and getting dances....and smile.

I think is great that drinking water works for some girls.

    I doesn't for me.
