Oh, and usually I'm not too big on the mainstream hip hop scene, but that DJ Khaled joint with Akon, TI, Wayne, annems is serious.

The type of girl you wanna chew all of my bubblegum

I hear it on the radio often and was wondering should I add that to my current playlist

"In life, we DO a lot in order to accomplish mundane trivial things before we die, but it is in death and after death in memories that we will truly live, because it is in the level of care and detail that a person paints of us with stories from their memories and experiences with us that give us meaning."
E40/Tum Tum - Caprice Musik (for those that like the bass)
DJ Khaled - We Takin Over
Young Berg - Sexy Lady
Huey - Pop Lock and Drop It
Nas - Hip Hop is Dead
Twista/Lil Wayne - Whip Game Proper
Does anyone else find that Lipgloss song incredibly annoying?? I don't like it at all.
^^I use this site to check for new music when I'm on a downloading spree. They update almost daily with new lyrics and I check the Top 30 songs too. I love being the one that brings in the new hot song that no one has heard yet!!
I've got mixed feelings about that lip gloss song. I find it midly annoying but my dancers somewhat like it; one of my dancers explained to me that this is song is not intended for old people like myself (I'm turning 30) but for 10-12 year olds. I used to get really offended over rap songs like this and Pop Lock and Drop It, etc., but as long as they stay in there lane and don't start saying they're "real" hip hop, I'm cool with it.

Is there still a such thing as regional hip-hop? Rap music from the south seems to be so dominate its hard to distinguish where artist are based from nowadays.
Anyway, most of the songs recently mentioned are unfamiliar round 'ere. Does New York have any good artist anymore?
