I felt so bad last night working b/c we got alot of spanish customers. There was a HUGE language barrier between us. I go out to the lobby (we're really busy by now 11pm) and ask the spanish customers if they would like her *and I point away* or they want me *and I point to myself*. I tell them roughly in slow English that its $40 to go back. They just nod their heads and say "si". I knew they didnt get what I was saying and it frusterating. After and HOUR both of us had come out taking guys back and kept trying to ask them and explain to them how everything works. They still just nod their heads and eventually leave. They had money in their hands ready to spend. I dont know how much but its important. Im tired of loosing money over this.
After looking at Susan Wayard's "spanish for dancers" section I still have some questions.
Instead of
Quieres un baile?=Do you want a dance?
I need help with:
Do you want a show?
We work off of tips.
Tips are $40-200.
I need help with these in Spanish please.
I swear one of us needs to write a handy little book filled with phrases that dancers can use in everyday work.![]()
