    My Mood
    Confused

    Default for the hard rockers

Crazy-Mushroom head (seal cover) just rocks if you have not discovered this one. i've also found the paul oakenfold remix of muse's song new born is sexy. my favorite cover right now is manson's cover of golden years. i was totally shocked that he didn't screw this one up.

on a side note: if any a perfect circle fans know where to find a studio verson of ashes to ashes please speak up. the live version i dowloaded is of poor quality

I just got vicarious, jambi, and the pot. I am underwhelmed. I wasn't crazy about the last APC either, though.

The new Dresden Dolls cd "Yes, Virginia..." is great though. If you're into the girl singer piano punk cabaret thing.

I'm on my 3rd full listen through "Yes, Virginia...". And I am digging it. I was worried it might suck, since a lot of bands suck on the "sophomore album"...but this is not the case.

That's tragic, I fucking love Zombie...

The Devils Rejects was good, but I was in just the right mood. Sherri did do a great job of being sexy and whacked at the same time.

Haven't seen Corpses yet, but I play "Brick House" whenever the moment seems right--like the dancer is built, and the crowd is primed, lol...

You should check out Faktion, good rock and some "danceable" songs. Same label as Slipknot, Nickelback, etc.

New Godsmack cd-"IV". I'm only about halfway thru so far....it's good. Typical Godsmack stuff, no big surprises so far. Stompy AIC meets Sabbath here, mellow there. Several playable tunes, and I see there's one called "Voodoo Too" coming up soon. Hmmm. I shall report back later.

Yeah, it's decent. I'm not blown away, but it's not disappointing either. Also, there's a bonus track called "I Thought" that starts at 12:30 after the listed last track.

It seems that, like Korn, they have a fondness for playing with the physical format on their CDs.

Unless somebody took an extra large bong hit in the mixing room that day, lol...

Eh, a bunch of people have done it. It's just annoying when it's on the same track, since you have to fast forward past 12 1/2 minutes of other stuff to get to it. That's what computer programs are for, cut it up and make it another track.

I recently discovered NIN - Get Down, Make Love (Jenna Jameson Mix)

I'm not sure if this is the mix I have been using or not (too lazy to go look right now, lol), but it does indeed rock the house--I love the vocals in the beginning:

"...how did it feel, what did she do? Tell me, tell me!"

I have never heard a "Jenna Jameson Mix" of the NIN version of the Queen tune. The version Djoser refers to is on the "Sin" single. I have a sneaking suspicion said remix is one of those online jobbie-doos, but I shall check it out anyway. Gracias.

I always make a ton of money when they play Kid Rock's "Fuc& you Blind." It's such nasty sexy song.
