i wish you could save them on your hard drive...that's what I need. I need to be able to put them on a disk and plop em into my dvd player. Since both of my computers are in rooms where my pole can't go (not enough space).

Your natural color would have been nice with some honey highlights. With that platinum on top it dosnt blend well. The 2 colors are not complimentary (look on a color wheel next time youre at a beauty store) You really need to tone down the blond on top. A toner is just a color (usually light brown) shell put it on for only a few minutes and wash out. It will darken the blond a couple shades.

Either that or darken the bottom a shade (to cover the red) and please put a couple foils on the sides!

Ok I actually really like this color. Maybe you could foil some of the red color into the fringe (bangs) and some blonde into the sides. I think it looks nice.

Next time go for something richer like a brown. The reds fade SO quickly and are a bitch to retouch.

Also, in terms of the placement of the red color, ask your stylist to part in a zig-zag instead of straight around your head. It blends it a little more and doesn't look as harsh around the sides. Like this... VVVVV around your head.

she actually did do the "v" around my head.

I'm gonna go back in this weekend hopefully and darken up the top and have her put some foils on the side.

as far as the red goes, I'm not worried about it. Once it fades, it will be brown.

    thanks for your advise!!

cool summer do what you like but i'd like to see a pic of you all fixed up before you change it. i think the blond is just fine right now, it isn't brassy or anything! i think if anything the bottom color looks a little raw. and also i don't think you should try to do it a certain way b/c that's how everyone else wears it, nothing wrong with being different! lol. but i understand nobody wants to look weird hehehe.

LOL, another reason I'm worried is because I'm going to a "prominent" figure at a large childrens expo on the 11 and 12th. I don't want to scare anyone! lol Kids are already lookin at me like "wtf" hahaha

I'll get all dolled for ya in the next couple of days and take some pics.

I actually like the platinum blonde with your lighter complexion and eye color - it just strikes me as very east european or something. But when it's pulled back I do think the sides should match. I think it's cool you're having fun with it. I sure fell into a rut with my hair the last few years. Try not to do too much damage to your hair though because it lookes really nice.

I think your hair looks great.

If you want it less punk you can go to the solon and get a weave.

If you want to darken you hair yourself, HERE IS ONE METHOD. I have used it before and it ususally work well.

    So, here you go:

If you want to darken your hair alittle bit, go to the beaty supply store and buy a cream developer and the shade of blonde you want on top.... When you apply it make sure your hair IS WET and apply it ONLY where you want the blonde darker. If you are not familiar with mixing beauty supply products you can just go to a drug store and and get a box.

IF you want to blend all of your hair get all of you hair wet and apply it

putting dye on wet hair acts as a deposit. DO NOT leave it on you hair for a long time.

You can either rinse it off when you acheive the colour you like,

or leave it on for about 5, 10 or 15 minutes.

MAKE sure you use a deep conditioner afterward so you dont dry out you hair!

i have red hair and dyed the back under part of it bright hot pink, and it caught people off guard. they'd do double takes.

i love having the color just poke through and suprise people.

I guess I need to update this! lol

I went back and had her weave some semi-perm color, similar to the red..just in very small weaves though, so it's still very blonde, but the color weaved in makes it a little less dramatic. I'll probably do something different when the roots grow out though lol I love to play with color!
