    Default New shoe pain

i want to get into dancing and so i recently bought a pair of 7 inch heeled pleasers (the candy-09 style if anyone cares)...i've always loved high heels and usually wear about a 3 or 4 inch heel daily anyways...so i've had these about 4 days now, wearing them about 4 hours at a time around my house, my thought process being that i need to "break them in"...which brings me to my question

do stripper shoes need breaking in? or do your feet just adjust and stop hurting?

alot of pressure is on the outside half of my big toes, no blistering or rubbing, just ALOt of presure......any insight here would be awesome

Try heating the plastic on the shoe with a hair dryer. Then put your foot into it,this will make the shoe form around your foot better. Wear it for a bit until you can feel the plastic totally cooled down.

They usually need to be broken in, depending on the style (especially boots). They can be stiff at first, and depending on the style of the shoe, the straps over the tops of your feet can really hurt until they get stretched out/broken in a little. A lot of the problem is getting used to the shoes though. You may be used to wearing 4 inch heels, but that is nothing compared to the 7 inch heels. Your feet will get used to them after a while. My feet were hurting for about the first month or so that I worked, but after that I got used to being on my feet more and got more used to the heels. It always helps when I put padding on the inside of the shoes, especially under the balls of my feet. That is the part of your foot that most of the pressure is on while you're standing in heels. Having padding underneath them makes it more squishy and it acts as a shock absorber.
Take the road less traveled- just make sure you have a map.
