    Default "Fusion" Extensions

I have had my extensions for about a month and a half now (the extensions are supposed to last 4-6 monthes) It's INSANE how much the hair sheds like CRAZY its all over my floor. One of the girls at my club has the same kind of extensions and says she has the same problem and thats normal.. It is very costly and its thinning out... Is there any way I can prevent this ??

Talk to your stylist. Either she used a lower-quality grade of hair, low-quality glue, or was just not all that experienced with the Fusion technique.

Have you called her and let her know yet?

she might have used to much extension hair in each piece...they stay better if the piece of extension hair is the same size as the piece of real hair it is attaced to.

also make sure not to use heat on the bonds when blowdrying...this can deteriorate the bond. use the cool setting or let them air dry.

    Hi Girls,

I specialize in fusion extensions and I can tell you from experience that shedding is normal but to a point. I use only remy human hair where all the cuticles are aligned in the same direction so it avoids the matting and tangles you can get from just human hair. Also make sure you use a boar bristle brush or loop extension brush, anything else will pull your break your bonds and make your hair shed like crazy.

I am trying to build my clientele, so if anyones interested you may drop me a message. BTW please keep in mind that these pictures shows that they have not been styled yet.

Okay i have fusion..and no issues. i've had them a month and no loss ( as of yet knock on wood )

I wash 3x's a week. style as usual etc etc

my hair was layered etc before and after it was put in.

I had the pre tipped hair.

no tangles and seriously really low maintaince.

after tip and stuff I paid right at a grand.

I use Put on Pieces - they are the clip in extensions. You can take out that night if you want or keep them in. Love them and swear by them. No damage to my hair and it's easy to put them in yourself. Go to great prices.
