    Default A REALLY flexible dancer

    http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...51212169523424

This doesn't actually strike me as a particularly sexy dance, but it is pretty amazing, and it is a bit mind boggling to imagine some of the sexual positions that would be possible with her...especially if she had an equally flexible partner.

Btw, you have to watch a fair amount of sort of goofy looking dancing before you see the really extreme postures.

LOL! My last girlfriend was a gymnist. All you guys going after dancers - you don't know what fun is... just be prepared not to have any food in the house.

I think that Guenevere is right, she is more accurately called a contortionist than a gymnist or dancer.

And I agree that it is more disturbing than enticing. I was even wondering if she had some kind of weird medical condition that made her bones rubbery or whatever, but I have never heard of such a thing. However, disturbing or not, I'll bet that she could bank as a "novelty" act in a strip club if she did such moves in the nude, or nearly so.

Many people who are true contortionists are thought to have a genetic difference that allows them the extreme flexibility in thier joints. Thier ligaments are super stretchy.

You can read a couple of interesting articles on the subject:

As far as i've been able to find the skeletal system remains completely normal, ie the bones are as solid as anyone elses. It's all in the connective stuff (ligaments and tendons). Kind of cool if you think about it. It's amazing what the human body is capable of.

Almost all of the world class rhythmic gymnasts are contortionists. Relatively few people saw that form of gymnastics until it became an Olympic event.

I never saw or heard of it before, but then I watch almost no television.

    That's a cool video, but...

The performer looked appeared very young to me, both from her face, her body, and the fact that the performance took place in a school gymnasium. I hope I'm wrong, because the original reference to sexual positions with her would be rather gross if she's a pubescent girl, wouldn't it?

Yep, but I didn't take her to be particularly young, mainly due to the fact that you can see that she is as tall or taller than almost all of the adults in the audience, even the men. This is especially apparent at the very end of the video when she is at approximately the same distance from the camera as the audience and actually further away than some of them (e.g., "Santa"). However, her body is so strange, and the resolution of the video is low enough that it is impossible guess her age with great confidence, I suppose. So, it is probably best to read the comment about possible sexual positions as referring to an adult woman with that degree of flexibility/limberness.

I think she was at least 16 or older (I think her 20's) - but the resolution did suck. I also compared her against the adults and there were some children near the end and she was definitely taller than them.

I also think a lot of years of training went into that performance also - a teener might be able to bend here and there but she definitely had done some work to get where she was.

I have chronic back pain, and I was almost nauseous seeing her bendiness...I was getting stabs in my back just watching! Very cool though...she looks like some kind of alien. There is a dancer at my club who can do moves almost that flexible...I always watch her in reverence too. It's wild.

Yeah, you could have all sorts of fun with it. Like I'll bet you could win big on wagers in bars, like "Hey everybody, who'll bet me $20 bucks I can't put my buddocks on top of my own head?"
