    Default Who can post

Quote "FROM THIS POINT ON, IF YOU ARE NOT A DANCER, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM POSTING IN THREADS ASKING FOR DANCER INPUT IN THE STRIPPING GENERAL SECTION."

I kinda liked the posts from club owners and DJ's and others involved in the business does that above quote mean they can't post in this section?

SW has various sections where every topic can be covered. Certain THREADS from non dancers should go under Customer Conversation.

Any member can respond to any post except men may not respond on the Ladies Only section.

As one of the moderators on SW, I try to be very fair on monitoring posts, and I usually will give you guys the benefit of the doubt and only move posts that I feel fit in better in another category.

Yes just please not excessivly The Stripping General section is supposed to be for dancers for the most part. Once and awhile it is nice to read another point of view but when it becomes excessive its like they think they know everything about everything and its kind of annoying *blush* For the most part I just dont read the post from the non dancer but when its an excessive thing it gets annoying to over look

I know I am a parton and not a dancer, but to add to what Cally just said, when you have say.. a situtation... if you can go somewhere and not only get some more experienced Dancers POV, but a couple of customers, new and old (and young and old for that matter), a bouncer, a DJ and if you are lucky a managers POV as well.. you really can't beat that

If we wanted a customers POV we would post in Customer Convo... not in Stripping General where we're looking for advice from other dancers NOT customers or DJ's.

The point is, DANCERS want DANCERS input. Customers, bouncers, DJs and managers can all be great people (or entirely shitty people, for that matter) but they are not DANCERS. If I want customer input, I will post in customer convo. If I want DJs input, I will post in Music Mix. Too many customers think they know something about dancing, and many many staff think they know more than they do.

Lots of custys and other non-dancers come into the Stripping General forum and stick thier nose in here trying to give us dancers advice. Freqeuntly, the advice sucks. Often, it is off-topic.

Nobody said you cannot post in her at all. But the point is, if you do not have someting productive to add to the conversation, then butt out.

    Kthnxbye.

This should help clear a few things up as it has been summed up in that thread AT THE TOP OF THE STRIPPING GENERAL.

Yes they can. But keep in mind an owner soliciting for business or dancers, can only do that in the Jobs section. Owners and booking agents feel free to join in the chat on the various forums, but DON'T try to sell anyone anything or recruit dancers.

An owner, dancer, DJ, bouncer, non dancer, etc. can post in any forum but no solicitation threads UNLESS in the jobs or marketing section.

Let me just clear this up, again, *sigh*

Customers (or non-dancers, non-industry people) are beginning to post too much in SG. While it's fine when the thread calls for a general, all-invited conversation on stripping, there are some topics that, unless you are a dancer, you should just not comment in. A manager or DJ responding would be fine as they know the business more personally and can offer different aspects/insights...but for the most part, a lot of the threads here are not pertaining to what a customer thinks or wants, etc.

As has been previously mentioned, customers have the customer conversation area (even the http://www.stripclubjunkie.com) and the Lounge, etc. But, if you see a thread about a dancer asking for dancer input, just hit the back button and find another thread to input on.
