Default do websites help your business?

I was watching this show on hbo it was saying how porn stars not only do porn, but they strip because they become more of featured act and people want to come and see them so they make more money.

So I was wondering if anyone had a website, and if having a website increased your clientel and earned you more money because your kind of a celebrity? And if so, is it just a website of your blog, or is it pictures and other stuff?

I direct custies to my blog, which has pics etc of me. After doing other work (ie modelling comps, strip comp, other clubs) I advertise that fact, and get management to push the "finalist Miss Taboo 2005" when talking about me. Id love to have a actual website, but they are pricy and need upkeep- Something I dont have time for!

Yuppers. Helped me a lot- since I move around so much, helped my customers find me. Of course I'm way too lazy to keep it up, lol.

I would love to get one. But don't even know where to start. It's probably not something that I could do myself. All the site-building places/people are so expensive. Anyone know any reasonable ones?

Go to . They offer "Website Tonight", a site building software/template program that is very easy to use.

First, you need to pick a domain name and register it. There is something very important to remember, however. You need to select "private registration." If you don't make your registration private, anybody can type in your website into , or a variety of other "whois" search sites, and find out the name and address of the person who registered the site - who will probably be you. There are a lot of creepy, disturbed guys online, especially on this site, who are just hoping you make this mistake. So don't. Pay extra for a private registration.

Then, you need to choose your hosting plan. Unless you're going to have a huge site with hundreds of photos and thousands of visitors, the GoDaddy economy plan should work just fine.

Then, you use their software to make your site and upload it. Voila! If you can following cooking instructions for a recipe, then you can make a website.
