    Default Curly Hair Question

My hair is pretty curly, and I don't like to straighten it all the time. Does anyone have any suggestions for products that I can use that will stand up to 6-8 hours of dancing? Usually my hair will look great at the beginning of the night, and then end up looking like crap after a few hours.

conditioner with moose, Just leave in the conditioner and put moose and it will leave your hair curly with no frizz for at least 12 hours.

Try the "Curls Rock" Line from TiGi. (Bed Head) It comes in blue bottles and it's great product for humidity and long days/nights. I like the mousse and the curl booster (creme) and when my hair starts to look frizzy or crazy I use the leave in conditioner just to stick the curl back together. It takes a lot of product to fight club humidity like sweat and all that.

That's what I use too. Works great. Along with the Catwalk "Work It" hairspray.

I've tried that, but most mousses make my hair crunchy, and I don't like that... What brand do you use?

My friend uses that too, so I think that I am going to try that first. Do you use a certain shampoo and conditioner that is geared for curly hair? I've tried a few, but none that made a major difference, so now I just use stuff for brunettes.

I use Keraphix by Nexxus and I can say this stuff is awesome. A protein conditioner that makes my hair soft.
Also when I had longer curly hair. I would put mousse in when my hair was damp and comb through to create pretty bouncy girls. Then let my hair air dry. That way it keeps the frizz down tremendously.

I shampoo and condition with either the Frizz Ease or All Soft lines, then I use a little of the conditioner as leave in conditioner and scrunch the ends up with gel. If my hair's misbehaving and frizzing out anyway, I'll break out the KMS Curl Up -- terrific stuff, but kinda pricey with as long as my hair's getting.
It probably also helps with the frizz that I shampoo my hair only every other time I shower. The rest of the time I either just rinse it, or massage conditioner into my hair and scalp really well and rinse rinse rinse.

I use CURL KEEPER from a canadian company frizz-off.It's the curly hair gel that I've used, way better than ouidad's CLIMATE CONTROL. Can be purchased through their web site www.frizzoff.com;)

Frizz-Ease Secret Weapon Flawless Finishing Creme. I live by this shit. It's a miracle for curly OR straight hair. Just make sure you put in on your *dry* hair - it needs a few minutes to "cure" but it will make an incredible difference.

Redken has a new line of products thats suppose to have a 24 hr humidity defense....we'll see if it works or not, but I just went out and bought the Super Strength Finishing Spray (aka Forceful) and the Flexible Volumizing Spray (aka Workforce) I have yet to use them, just got em yesterday....but hopefully they'll do the trick. I straighten my naturally wavy hair almost everyday and I use Matrix Extreme Styling Creme (the sleek and style stuff in the orange tube) and Kiwi Color Reflector Blow Serum. On my ends I use Redkens Smooth Down Heat Glide serum......ok ok I'm a product whore, but in combination all that stuff keeps my hair healthy. Before I went and got the new Redken sprays I was using Herbal Essences Citrus Lift Mousse and Finishing Spray, that stuff worked pretty well and smelled SUPER awesome!!!

(oh by the way, I put the kiwi stuff on right after I towel dry my hair, then I smooth on the matrix stuff, then add the redken heat glide just to my ends (it's kinda greasy so ya don't wanna put it on your roots) then I let my hair air dry a good amount, then blow dry....when my hair is almost dry I'll spray my roots with the volumizing spray, finish blow drying then spray with the finishing spray......at that point I straighten my hair with a straightener (not at the roots, about 6-7 inches below my roots) just to finish the look)
