I haven't gotten a dance for years, but if I ever do, it'll be an air dance.

If you get one from a woman who knows what she is doing--and they are out there, trust me--it's a far different and vastly superior experience to sitting and watching someone onstage.

The most important sexual organ is the mind, and a woman who understands this and makes use of it can be devastatingly effective, without laying a finger on you...

    I get it too.

While I have done some two way contact in my time I later had regrets because the additional money I earned was not worth the damage it did to my self worth. I learned from the experience and set limits for myself that I did not cross from that point forward.

These days I greatly prefer air dancing but am also comfortable doing light one way contact for some customers. My personal rule is no customer can touch me under any circumstances.

In my opinion, doing things like grinding sets the bar lower nowadays and I truly believe that is one of the contributing factors on the dwindling of earing potential.
    I agree 100%

I can see where Bethann is coming from.I am a veteran of the dancing industry and grinding when I first started was unheard of and we made so much more money back then.In my opinion, doing things like grinding sets the bar lower nowadays and I truly believe that is one of the contributing factors on the dwindling of earing potential.
How high contact are N.O. lapdances? here in tampa grinding is pretty common but I've never seen, had, or given a dance in N.O. All I hear is there is some kind of pedestal involved?

I don't think it's right to come on here and judge others for what they will or won't do. It's our bodies and our right to dance for a living. Plenty of people judge strippers in general outside the industry. We don't need to get on here and start judging each other in regards to what goes on in our own clubs. In my opinion, that is the problem with society in general, instead of trying to help each other we knock each other down instead to make us feel better about what we are doing. That in reality is only a short-term solution to a problem that is long-term. Let's try to help one another and offer advice without insulting each other.

I think if you pulled every strip club in America, Canada, Australia, including where all of us are from you will find that most club do allow some grinding. It may not be legal everywhere but that is what is happening now. When I first started dancing at the club I work at we only did 15 dollar table/air dances. Now we do VIP/lap dances as well. Now I know a lot of places are starting to offer contact on the customer's behalf. Before much longer I have a feeling we will be resorting to that as well. I just think the industry is in a downward slump right now, as well as, the economy in general. Let's pull together and help each other out so we can make it through tough times.

Dances here are not high contact at all.Yes,we do all our dances on pedestals. We place something that looks like an round end table in front of the customer and give the dances on those.

I think its a matter of legality as well as a matter of personal comfort. I myself dont care for grinding and touching and it irritates me that it is the standard, legal or not. Theres nothing I can do about it except be comfortable with myself. IMO a sensual dance is a lot hotter than some grinding and humping but thats just me.

I've never worked in a zero contact club and I'd have no idea what to do in an air dance. I mean rubbing your tits and bending over has to get old faster than 3 minutes, how do you give an erotic air dance? If anyone wants to link me to a similiar post that'd be cool.

It's about using your mind and not your body. At my club we give airdances. I LOVE IT! Men come into the strip club for fantasy. I give them that. I seduce while I dance. Tons of eye contact, and a slow, sensual dance. They love it, and I always get repeat dances from customers.

Basically all an airdance is whatever it is you do during a lapdance, but without sitting on his private areas. Hopefully you aren't in that area the entire time

Did you just read what you typed???You are admitting you have no problems dry humping strange men.It isn't like putting his "unit" in your hand but you come a lot closer to it than we air dancers do.

Ok, let's stop judging again. Just because some do some grinding and some don't doesn't make anyone any better or worse. You are not degraded until you allow yourself to be. Society judges us enough for being strippers, let's stop judging each other and help one another!!

You don't have to help her if you don't want to. But don't judge her either. What is wrong for you doesn't have to be wrong for everyone. And again, grinding is a very common practice now in the majority of strip clubs. I don't "get off" on grinding myself but I do what I need to to keep up.

That's where you're wrong.Yes,grinding is a comman practice nowadays but you don't have to change with the times. You can still stay true within your methods and still make bank.I should know,I've been dancing for 12 years. This "adapting" to what everyone else is doing is making it more common. It fuels that ugly fire.

You have the right to feel the way you do and I have the right to do what I need to do. I hardly know of any clubs in my area that don't do grinding. In fact, I know of no clubs in my area that don't do it. However, I am going to The Cheetah next week though to work in Atlanta which is about 400 miles from here. They don't do grinding at all and I am excited about not having to do it. I would prefer to do as little of it as possible. But then again I don't judge the girl that chooses to do it.

See, and that's the problem. There are so many girls willing to go that "EXTRA" mile that so many of you feel the need to keep up. It kills me how so many on this site complain about the dreaded extras girls...What do you do when your mediocre grinde dance becomes boring? You're gonna feel the need to "keep up" again huh?

It's sad. Newbies learn the art of dance by watcing you vets. If you train a girl how to dance the CORRECT, and classy way, then she will in turn dance that way. And then the next girl thereafter.

I dont know..do what you want. But I think this is the #1 reason why so many "good" clubs quickly turn into brothels. There are to many girls with the mentality of "I gotta do what I gotta do"

Well, I am a very CLASSY woman. My club has went to VIP lap dances within the last couple of years. The whole entire dance is not a grind but we do do it for several seconds at a time. We are far from being a brothel. I been to clubs that aren't far from it.

You can't change the world of dancing neither can I. I know it will keep moving in the direction it is and I have my bounderies as well. I am doing what is within the regulations of my own club and I am sure you do what is within the regulations of yours as well. There are people in society that will say, look at those girls taking off her clothes in front of drunk strange men for money, that's a shame, she is beautiful, she doesn't have to do that to earn money. No we don't have to strip or do anything of that nature to earn a living but we choose to do this because it is our body and right.

Yes, I did say I "prefer" not to, of course I want to do as little as possible for the money. I didn't say or imply that I was "too good" to do it either.

Hell, I'd say the same thing too. Alot of girls don't have to do alot of things to earn money in the clubs, but they still do. Why, Because they feel the need to keep up with what everyone else is doing.
