Just a question/observation for everyone who has tried Atkins/Lo Carb dieting...
Did you go through ketosis, and keep track of it? I have those little sticks you pee on (ketostix) and for the last 3 weeks I'd say, I have been in ketosis. The first 2 weeks was due to starvation, because I had pneumonia and wasn't eating or really drinking anything. This last week, I have only been eating foods with no carbs (seafood, cheese, eggs pretty much) and have stayed in the highest level of ketosis. Now.... If you've ever tried the Atkins diet I would love to know how it affected you, negatively or positively. I already have lost about 12 pounds with the diet and also the prior not eating....I'd like to keep losing.
How hard was it for you to stay on the diet? Thanks
