Hi girls! I'm new to the site and actually just got my job today! I start on Sat...anyway, I wear contacts and know after a long night of working in a smokey room my contacts are going to be dry as hell! Any suggestions on a good brand to try?

I use Acuve daily lenses and don't have any problems generally - I work in a REALLY smokey club. Just take some eye drops or saline to work with you incase.
Thanks, after being in there for just a little while today, they started to feel dry and i dont want to be dancing around in a blurr!!!

Eye drops!
Because there ain't no tits on the radio

and if you have glasses, maybe wear them around home days you work long shifts...even just being in the semi-dark all night is hard on me...I find that night vision is slightly reduced by lenses. I have also found that certain brands of contact solution are much harder on my eyes than others...i used to think they were all the same, but now I'm an Opti girl.
i have the kind that you can wear day/night for up to a month and i've had no problem. nontheless, i still always have eye drops on me.
Wearing contacts depends on your eye's capability to withstand the dryness/lack of oxygen. You can try and condition your eyes by wearing them overnight. (or if you dare for more than one day without cleaning them, but make sure they are disposables!). I trained my eyes to be able to wear Acuvue 2's for several days and I never really notice they are there unless I sleep with them on (and they might feel dry in the morning).
I do know some people though are less suited to wearing contacts and need to use rewetting drops though (not everyone's eyes are the same)
O2Optix are pretty good. I can sleep in them and wake up without that dry feeling. They are supposed to allow 5 times more axygen to your eye that other brands.
