    Default Hustling outside of work

Here is something that has worked well for me. I go into local chat rooms and message boards and flirt with guys and get them interested. Then of course they want to meet you, so I tell them where I work and what my schedule is. Then when they come in they are already planning on spending their time and $ with me before they even walk in the door.

Just a little dangerous but if the world was a better place it would be a great idea.

How is it any more dangerous or different from chatting up a guy who comes in off the street?

I don't see how it is any more dangerous than any other customer...guys I meet online don't know any more personal info about me than any other random guy who happens to walk in.

But you've sought them out. If they're sick in the head they think it's ok to stalk you now. They think you've invited them because you're interested.

(not that you wouldn't have that problem with regulars)

Stalkers are a risk you run no matter what you do. I picked up a stalker once---when I worked at Radio Shack!

Personally, I think this idea is brillient. I am always telling dorks who IM me to come see me at work. Unfortunately, they never listen.

Try some internet message boards. I got several good customers off aspd, and a few unsavory ones, but no stalkers. Just keep it inside the club and maintain and anonymous email and a pay-as-you-go phone.

I do this all the time. That's why I have this aol email. I give it to cuties I meet at the club and potentail ones that IM me online. I usually chat with them on my days off and tell them when to come into my job. No stalkers-yet...

it does sound like a great idea!!
however, i would be afraid of a hacker...who would stalk me...possibly
but then again, what are the odds?
i am just weird and paranoid like that, though
but i guess...what's the difference between that and having ur own website? if they're going to get ya, they'll find a way
    good luck w/it!

I have set up a myspace site just for this purpose, with all my 'stripper' info of course I give the website to my custies so they can check my schedule, and then other people see it, and so on and so on, I don't specifically go looking for people, but they tend to find me. And its a GREAT way to not give out my number, but still keep a customer.

I don't like the idea myself. However I have used the clubs free and cut price entry vouchers to drum up business (usually give them to taxi drivers or concierge to check the place out and refer people, they have done it for free because they liked me and I gave them passes for themselves and their friends)

Goodness, no! Phoenix, please think about this. I think it could be a very dangerous game. In the club environment, everyone knows the game and is there in a fantasy context. No harm done on either side and everyone is on the same page. If you actively initiate things outside of the club as a guise to get them in, the entire context has been distorted to such a degree that things could get dangerous. At the very least, you're going to hurt someone. At the worst, you might actually get hurt somehow. I really think it's a bad idea. If you do go this route, please, be careful and guard all personal info like fort knox.

My guess is that you're more-than-average likely to attract stalker-types that way. In their twisted mind, they'll have some reasoning that goes something like this:

She really likes me, I remember from IM... she doesn't really want me in the club to make money, she really LIKES me, that's why she was nice on IM.

Then they'll start getting all sorts of ideas about getting you *out* of the club.

Normal, non-dangerous guys (with an active fantasy life, but otherwise okay) that get to this point will might try (as if this weren't common anyway) to talk you out of being a stripper, to go out with them outside work, etc, etc. Not much worse than stuff that happens regularly. If you push them away a few times, they'll eventually get the picture.

Psychos will start stalking you and try to "kidnap" (or in their minds "rescue") you, or something like that.

Admittedly, all of this can happen within the club, but my feeling is that it's way more dangerous if the contact started in the "real world." See, all but the most twisted sort-of know that they made a conscious decision to go in to the strip club. If you start the relationship, in however a minor way, outside the club, then it's "your fault" that they went in in the first place... "you dragged them there to rescue you" or some such.

Essentially, what I'm saying is that you're dramatically increasing your chance of becoming a target of the 1/1000 true sicko out there. Don't understimate the effort that some will go through once they have their mind set on you, there are some true crazies out there, as we all know from TV, etc.

I think its a pretty good idea as long as your careful. Make it clear you are not looking for someone to rescue you and oh crap I haven't had my coffee yet so I'll think of a better response when I'm a little more awake

There is a girl at my club who told me she has a myspace account with her dancer info on it. She told me she has met some customers since getting the myspace account, but no "baller" type customers. I don't think it's worth it...

Nooooo, I would not do this! It does sound like a great way to rake in cash, but I totally agree with Ex-Lurker, you're taking it out of a club setting. The lines are blurred. Men just walking down the street often interpret a lady smiling as a sexual come-on! If you start talking online with them they will naturally think you're "friends" in real life especially if they have any way to find you. If on the other hand, you talk for a while and know the guy WELL then it might be worth it. Always trust your gut.

On a similar- but- different note, hacking and internet stalking DO happen. I work in webcam, and some of the guys from my hometown found me online (seriously what are the odds?!) and now have posted my pics all over the damn place!! I get strangers leering at me and am worried about safety sometimes. What you are doing is different granted, but as with anything online be VERY wary. This situation you describe would be far too close to home for me (and literally, for you)..Just please be careful, girl!
