    Shiney Hair

I have straight dark brown hair. Looks healthy now since I chopped alot of it off. But I want that super glossy shine that most dark haired women have. Any good products/tips?

No oily products to go out in either, my roots tend to get oily. I'd only put loive oil or coconut oil at night and wash it off the next day to get it really soft and healthy.

At the end of your shower rinse hair quickly with very cold water. It makes it shinier.

I LOVE Rusk deepshine anti-frizz serum & Rusk sea Kelp shine spray. It's really great if you live in a humid area.

Also, getting your hair dyed with a semi-permenant will make your hair look really shiney. I have been getting mine colored blue black for the last few months and my hair has never looked better. I actually get compliments from strangers on the street.

I get mine from my hair salon, but im sure it's avaliable online. Try this website to find somewhere in your area that carries it.

You type in your zip code and it will give you a lift of salons that carry it.

Or you could just google it and order from an online store.

I have very fine straight hair and I have the same problems with the roots. I use John Frieda brilliant brunette shine shock and haven't had a problem with it. Just don't use too much!

Well I have blonde hair, but I am the girl that used to complain about having dull hair that got greasy anytime I put any products in it..til I started using a boar's hair brush..the difference in the shine is incredible, and my hair looks healthier, and I even get better texture. I LOVE IT! I try using the boar's hair brush all the time, but since I have long hair sometimes I use my old regular brush just to get out knots. You have to get one!!!!!

I use this cheap product from Sallys that I LOVE! It's called Flasher by Beyond the Zone. It's real light spray, you just use a little bit after your hair is dry and you get this crazy shine that doesn't look greasy. It works best on med to dark hair.

You can also get a shear glaze, even at drugstores. I know Nice N Easy offers a clear glaze, that gives incredible shine,a nd it's like $7.
