Good to hear you had a blast being creative. Boo about no money though.
And I agree sooo much with DJoser about the artistic gratification...the satisfaction of a show well done makes you memorable and the tips will come to you in time.

For the movie Friday the 13th part 6 Jason Lives Alice Cooper did a song about the hockey masked killer called "He's back (the man behind the mask)". You can prolly download it off limewire. It's campy but still creepy. It was also available on the "Constrictor" album.
Try checking out, if you can find it, "Jack The Ripper" by Error. It's a bitch to find, and a pretty dischordant industrial song, but if it fits the mood you're going for, it's a great song.
ok I'll add my own contribution even though I'm late:
track 11 off the Spawn soundtrack - T-4 Strain by Henry Rollins and Goldie
I really liked the song (music) but I only danced to it twice, frankly I was terrified of encouraging any serial killers that might have been in the audience.
You never told me why
You never gave me a reason
I can kill
I'll watch you die
Today, tomorrow
I can kill you
I don't die
I can kill, but I can't die
I can kill, but I can't die
Everlasting life is mine
I can kill, but I can't die
Imprisoned by hypocrity
Then you see me
Give up
You never told me why
You never gave me a reason
I can kill
Look into my eyes
Feel the breath of death which does die
That feeling just might change
You enclosed my name
I can kill, but I can't die
I can kill, but I can't die
I can't die
I can kill, but I can't die
I can kill, but I can't die
Everlasting life is mine
I can't die

^^^ Where are you from? Your housemate can pay me to dance to it, I dance to that song all the time.
^ Do you mean me?
