    Default Tae Bo

I just bought the new boot camp dvd and I was wondering if anyone else had done this and if it worked for them. I am really excited about doing this. I've lost a lot of wieght in the past 4 years from 160 to 120 and now I want to tone up. I've already improved my diet, no more fast food for me. No more soda, water and fresh juice are great. Lots of fruit and fresh veggies, no fried foods or creamed dishes. Low carbs. Everything in moderation. I feel much better diet wise but I need to shape up some.

What is your opinion on Tae Bo?

I did it once, it hurt like hell afterwards, but since I was just goofing around with some friends I didn't continue to do them. I can only imagine what you would look like if you kept doing them!

I recently sold my Tae Bo video tapes. I prefer more 'gentler' exercises like Winsor Pilates. I don't have tolerance for high impact work-outs anymore... low impact is for me only due to wear n tear I've experienced thanks to this line of work.

Granted, when I did it many years ago now... it did seem to be a great work-out. Just depends if you like high or low impact workouts.

I did Taebo for about a year. It is a very good cardio. Not much for toning though. Weight training works best. Watch "Body by Jake" if you don't know where to start.

I love Tae Bo. In one year when I could not hit the gyms, I used Tae Bo and it kept me in great shape and my thighs looked amazing. However, on the contrary to GCG, I only go for exercises that make me break a sweat so it definitely was my thing.

Oh, and congrats on your upcoming wedding too! Is this to get in shape for your Big Day?

Did you buy the set with the bands, or is the DVD alone efficient?

I used to do Tae-Bo and I loved it! Im tempted to buy the boot camp set. Lately I have been using the Firm & I LOVE it, the Firm has weights cardio everything.

I bought it without the bands and you can do it without them. Eventually I'll add weights. I'm drooling over the one girls abs in the DVD. I like to work and play hard, so a workout thats going to bust my buns I welcome..

I'm getting in shape for the wedding yes but not just that. I tired of looking and feeling bloated and I'm 30 next year. I'm also getting some 'improvements' this year and want to look the best I can by my 30th. I don't want to turn 30 and its really starting to sink in. I definately don't look 29 or that I've had 5 kids.
