Our local clubs are more down market than the ones TOO patronizes. If anyone shows up too well dressed, the dancers will assume your law enforcement and steer clear. So I think it's essential that you dress neatly and cleanly, but not look out of place for the type of club. For most clubs, polo shirts and chinos/soft jeans/khakis will do just fine.

    Canali / Italy white shirt

Very snappy dress TOO. I cant afford Armani and instead lean towards Hart Schaffner and Marx. The right suit from these folks does "suit" me well.

My fav likes it when I occasionally put on the dog over and above my usual business casual. I think my appearance adds to her club status.

    Allen Edmonds Park Avenue shoes
I love these. Probably the best shoes I've ever bought. I only break them out for really important occasions.

As for suits, I'm too averse to the potential damage to mine (mostly Joseph Abboud) to wear to the club.

dress pants, nice shirt. not too dressy not too casual. unless you're going to a real upscale place, then suits and dressing up is fine. jeans are a definate no, at least for me. i also hate when guys wear windbreaker type material pants or really thin fabric pants, because those tend to be the guys who are just trying to cum during the dance. blech. most of the girls i know avoid customers who look that way.
