Default returning to work after a BA

Ok I havent go them done yet, I have a busy summer ahead of me so I am waiting until fall. I was wondering how long those of you who had the girls done waited till going back to work. One dancer I know was back to work a week later, she just stayed away from the pole. I also heard the pole is bad for implants anyway, is that true?

If your implants are place sub-pectoral,yes,the pole is bad for them. The muscular contractions will squeeze the implants and can oftentimes cause slow leaks.

I need to know how long should I take off work? Is 2-4 weeks ok or would I need more time?

I think it's best to plan for a whole month. Then if you want to go back early, you can, but you don't feel forced to. You might not want to work as much when you are ready, too.

FWIW, I was ready at 3 weeks, but I'm still a little sore even now at 3.5 weeks

I swear I am going to be so so so so so bored for a month. Thanks for the info you 2. I'm not going to push myself but the bills still need to be paid. I can afford a month off but thats it.

Over the muscle, 3-4 weeks. Under the muscle, 4-6 weeks. Returning to work sooner than this risks shifting of the implants out of position before they are firmly anchored in place by scar tissue, as well as a minor risk (but very serious if it were to occur) of hematoma or ripping open an incision. Obviously, many girls 'push their luck' and get away with it by returning to work sooner. However, one or two girls in 100 wind up being 'not so lucky'. Keep in mind that, besides the potential health issues at risk, you're not going to earn much money if you wind up shifting one implant so that it's pointing sideways !

I do very, very little pole work and hardly any floor work. This is because how the stage is set up. Basically its just dancing around like a dance club. Should I still plan on a month recovery? Yes I know I need time to heal but I've been home for a month now because of an injury and I'm bored as hell.

Yes,a whole month. You need to have as little physical activity as possible so that your surgery will take.
