    Default Backwards...

So, I've discovered that I am so much more comfortable on stage, than on the floor doing the hustle.

and for that, I suppose you'd all consider me a little backwards!

I'm assuming my hustle will get stronger with time (because, quite frankly, I think I'm terrible.) But it's so much easier for me to be flirty and sassy and strong on stage... perhaps it's the distance from the custies?

If a sale comes from my stage show, then I'm cool... but I have an awful time making the sale in between. Sigh.

Yep, I've read lots of posts at hustle hut etc... so, words of wisdom, veterans???

And here I thought I'd be the odd one out! Through so many of the posts I've read that dancers would rather be on the floor... yay, I don't feel so weird.. hahaha.

I just feel like I can work it so much better up there!

Likewise. On stage I'm free to just dance. The floor is so businesslike and money-oriented, but on the stage its just me and the audience. I can have fun and be myself, and that's what makes my stage dances so much better than anything else. But I'm workin on those lap dances!

I was the same way. I loved the stage and didn't care too much for hustling.

I also love being on stage and hate hustling. I love dancing and putting on a show, but not walking around and sitting with guys and trying to get them to buy dances and drinks for me.
Take the road less traveled- just make sure you have a map.

I'm not shy at all onstage and the opposite on the floor, it's really hard for me to force the hustle. I love the stage and am always asking the DJ when it's my turn

The stage is what I miss the most about dancing. But I'm lucky, I can go on stage after closing at the club my husband works at.

I LOVE the stage, I would much rather be on stage then on the floor. Because of this though I put a lot of work into my stage show. Since I have come to the states(the two days i've worked here lol) Im making hell of a lot more money on stage then I do on the floor lol. Its fun.. I like the pole so yea lol... stage is fun, and I love how you do stage tipping in the US, im almost hooked on dancing down here. But hey as I said its only been two shifts so my opinion may change

I love the stage. Its simple and easy and fun. The floor is where you actually work. Get out there and hustle.... seems were all on the same page here...

Same here -- I can sell dances much, much better when I get a chance to talk to customers while I'm onstage. That's why I'm trying to stick to clubs with frequent stage sets for now. It works much better for me to start onstage and take it offstage than to just sell offstage. More 'material' to go on, I guess.

Wow, after reading this, I'm actually kinda happy Utah has no private dances, all stage for me! Though, I assume if we did, I would feel the same as y'all, I hate hustling drinks, love being on stage though!

That's the way it is in NJ. You have 1/2 hour stage shows where you get tipped and then you make your sales from the stage area. You walk off the stage and do a few dances then get changed for your next set.

I think it strikes a good balance between the two. And I'm with you too. When I danced, I looooved the stage. Free to express myself MY WAY. Makes you feel like a feature most of the time.

I was working until recently in a club that was all hustle, it was bad enough that I am just not that good at that, not to mention hating it, but then the money dropped to rock bottom. Finally I had had enough, and went back to an agency I used to work for, that has lot's of "neighborhood" clubs. A few have lap dances, a few don't, but the money on stage is good enough that I don't need to hustle if I don't want to. I do a dance here and there - if they ask, and they DO ask ! Now it's mostly stage for me. I am having a blast! My money is back up there, I get paid instead of paying, and the hours are generally much better. Not to mention all the excersize I'm getting by all the stage work. Bonus!

I liked the stage better too. I didn't like the hustle much. Guess that's why I've hardly ever danced.
