    ok..more questions. i've been working out and watching what i eat..etc etc. i've been having a problem with my abs. i've been doing crunches and targeting upper & lower abs but only the upper abs are showing improvement, the lower abs are still kinda..hanging there. any advice? (i've been doing the...ankle raises i guess their called lay on back and lift ankles up)

    Try that move where you lay on your back and touch your toes in the air....if that makes sense...you know, raise your legs perpendicular to the floor and then touch them. It worked for me.

    Also a good move, I saw this on a cheerleading thing on tv, lay flat on your back, arms stretched above your head, feet out straight, then in one quick move, lift you legs up and make V in the air and bring your hands between your legs, it's really hard to do at first cuz it uses those muscles so much, but after awhile it should get easier. You have to do the movement pretty quick, but to start you can do it a little slower until you can make yourself move like that!

    Also at the gym I go to they have a stand where you get up on it, and brace yourself with your elbows on some pads, and there's a pad on your back, you hold on to some handles and then lift your legs like that. You can either lift them straight out (like an L) or just pull them up to your chest by bending your knees. i started with the bending my knees cuz it's REALLY hard to do the L at first, but I've gotten to the point that I can do the L.

    thanks, ill try these. i've seen the toe touching one which i can try but i doubt i'd make it, lol. that V move looks like it hurts but they are all worth a shot. i am pretty overweight right now my ecliptical is my best friend (got it with income tax return) but i can only use it like 5 minutes at a time hehehe. ill get there though; i friggin want my body back!

    today i wrote up on note cards words of encouragement and ideas for the day (like go jogging) to keep me on track.
