Default which costumes tend to make the most money?

I know a lot of things factor into what makes you a lot of money at clubs. But when it comes to costumes, who makes the most money? And I don't mean like, a certain costume like Tinkerbell, or Jasmine. I mean, to trashier, tacky costumes seem to be more appealing to guys? Or do things like lingerie, that's sexy, but not tacky seem to make more money?

If anyone's seen "flavor of love" and seen that girl hottie, than that's what I mean by tacky lol.

I think it really depends on which club you're working from. Obviously it depends on what you're comfortable with too, as is noted so often (cuz it's true!) if you feel good, you look good. And this usually equates to more money!

I find there are 2 outfits that are usually the best for me, one is a very classic look (sort of 1940's film noir femme fatale thing) and the other is very girl next door, bright colours, girly and glossy lipped look.

Interestingly, the outfit I was so excited about has made me NO money! I bought a gangster girl costume (by forplay), and both times i've worn it,I got complimented all night but no one wanted to buy a dance!!!

White always works well if you have UV lights to work with.

Ah, the universal school girl outfit has to be the first thing to come to mind! I know, it seems too simple.

I would also have to say it depends a lot on where you live. "Lingerie" looking outfits have been big out here lately. Lacey, frilly, bows, pnk/blk sets, rhinestones, corsets, garters...

I think Zoe is right--it depends on what makes you feel comfy. I'm a gown girl myself--the more glamouous, the better. My all-time best dress is a white maralyn Monroe halter dress. LIke the one she wore in the famous picture where she is standing over the subway grating and the wind is blowing her skirt up.

Depends a lot on the club, and on your image at work. It's good to stand out a little bit, but looking too different from the other dancers can work against you. If everyone else is in two pieces and bikinis, a little dress might be perfect. A long gown would probably look ridiculous.

I sometimes get compliments on how nice my outfits are -- they're well-made in good fabrics and I avoid anything too cheap or "strippery." My gut is that this helps to attract a better type of customer.

Obviously, your outfit should flatter you as much as possible. Just about every other womens' magazine has an article about what lines flatter which body types and there's lots of stuff online:
    www.edressme.com/prom-guide-step-1.htm
    http://www.greatestlook.com/bodytype.html
    http://www.girlynation.com/style_swi...ryourbody.html

But apart from flattering your body and looking nice, I'm not a big beleiver in the "magic outfit." It doesn't seem to greatly effect my money if I wear one dress or another, as long as I look put together.

I've changed up my style a bit, i've gone from the skimpy flurocent tight outfits to nice elegant pretty girly strapless salsa dresses , mostly asymetrical (which compliment my curves, 34 DD, big butt & thick thighs), it fits my exotique look......i wear some nice bracelets along with it -- some hoop earings

i've gotten alot of compliments from the managers, the bartenders, the GIRLS and alot of customers..esp. regulars

I think you have to really find something that fits your style, that compliments your body and features.......i think exotic dancers really need to get out of the flurocent skimpy outfits because it's so cliche and work with something girly like tha tworks for them, that's my opinion

It depends on your personality, your body, what suits you. As sad as it is, if you have a young look to you, school girl will make you the money. There is no one outfit that makes you money. It also depends on the city, the style of the club, the type of music you dance to etc... There are so many factors into what outfit suits you. Also what YOU feel sexy in because confidence is the key.

im little and petite, and pull of the school girl look quite well. i also have a girl scout outfit i wear, and when i wear either of them, i almost always get a good response. this doesnt just work with old guys, a lot of younger guys like it too. while its true youll probably have a few school girls working on every shift, some girls actually have the innocent (yet sexy) look to pull it off, while other girls just look like strippers in plaid skirts. i try not to 'typecast' myself though, so i alternate between innocent and somewhat goth/bondage style. im trying to find a 'classy' outfit to wear as well, but im really picky.

i refuse to wear any florescent or tacky spandex stripper outfits for any reason. haha.

i wear a leopard print style outfit and i make tons of $$ wearing it. I get tired of the school girl outfit, so i wear a "baby" girl out fit-which is a pink dress, white knee high stockings and black shoes with pig tails for hair. Its totally barely legal. Also when there is a bachelor party i wear my cop out fit complete with hand cuffs.

I always wear school girl i have 6 different ones all in light colors... i find light colors make you stand out in a dark club where everyone is wearing dark colors... white... really gets a lot of attention ... i've noticed when i wear all white.. i look like a virgin or something or maybe the new girl and make at least 200-300$ more then when i wear dark... thats why i stop with dark colors.. light light light colors.. innocent look but secretly very naughty... its all in the eye contact after that... be playfull..
