Hey guys, I'm pissed! Since my club is out in the boonies, I have 2 cab companies that I do business with. The one the picks me up from my house charges me a flat fee of $30 (sometimes even throws in some free trips) and the second company is out in the boonies, not to far from the club. They too charge me $30 to take me home.
There are about 5 cabdrivers who drive for the "boonie" cab company. One of the guys (who we'll call Eric) is my buddy. We get along great, have lots of talk about and he's just freaking AWESOME! The other guy is "Tom" He's a bit older, I talk to him somewhat, but it's just bein cordial while he takes me home.
Anyways, to make a long story short, "Tom" took it upon himself to b#tch to the cab owner that he refuses to take me home anymore! Since I live 30min away from the club, my fare to come home should be $40. But since my manager talked with the owner (from when I first started) they worked out a deal to only charge me $30 because hey I am working alot of days.
So tonight, "Tom" get's to biotching about taking me home. And starts complaining about me to the other drivers ( they rarely take me home anyways) so now ALL of the guys are saying they won't take me home anymore except my buddy Eric.
I'm so mad, and hurt. I spend hundreds, yes HUNDREDS of dollars ($720/month) on cabs per month! And that is just coming and going to work! And then you mean to tell me you aren't gonna take me home anymore since I'm not paying $40, but $30 as a discounted fare WTF.
So I told Eric that since this is going on, then I'll just have to take my business elsewhere. For all that money that I've been spending going home from some assholes who really didn't want me to anyways...that's some BS [end rant]

I've tried saving money, but after bills, school bills, family stuff (what can I say I'm a softy) I rarely have anything left. I hate it!

You need a car and a way to keep saving so you can have another means of employement should something happen and you could no longer dance, etc.
