My guy was in my city on business for a few months off and on. He came in the club twice when I was working and we hit it off. i was in a bad relationship at the time. After 4-5 weeks I gave him my real name, went to his place a few times platonically, and then we connected.

I wanted out so badly, so right before his work was over, he bought me a huge suitcase and all new clothes, and I left for good. Came back 5 months later, called the cops on my ex, we took all the stuff out of the house that would fit in the car, and I have NEVER been back to that town.

My guy helped me start tracking and saving money, and I have accomplished more dancing since I've been with him than in all of my years dancing before. I didn't really have any purpose before in my old life, so I think I basically used going to work to stay away from home.

Customer/Dancer marriages happen ALL the time here on Guam. But this place is also filled with sailors.

I met my current boyfriend at my club a year ago. We have been dating for 7 months. We fell in love and our love is growing. I would love to marry him someday. He is a wonderful man.
I never thought I'd wind up falling in love with a customer. But he was a diamond in the rough. Still is.

1000% sure it will never happen to me. i'll never believe again that i can be in a relationship with a customer and he can see me as more than a stripper, completely separate from a stripper persona. there's such a thing as too open minded and i learned my lesson. so i think i'll meet my true love when i'm not only not at a club, but dressed down, with no make up on, and am totally myself, doing something that doesn't involve looking good, and not a performer. i'm beginning to realize that the kind of person i could seriously fall at this point for wouldn't even come to the club. i know it seems like a double standard, but i don't mean it the way it probably sounds. too long to explain.

I don't know if you should not wear makeup and "dress down", rather dress in a cute way, rather than stripper costume, and make yourself the best you have. You do want him, to be the best, right?

I differ with the above & agree more with pissymissy. The "perfect" man is one who appreciates you for who you are. Therefore if your natural inclination is to dress down -- you should do so!

Whenever I'm seriously into someone, I start off wearing nice clothing around them, and then move to wearing T-shirts and jeans, and then change back to dressing up sometimes, when I feel like it. My message is -- if you don't love me without my makeup, without my nice hairdo, then you don't love me; you love an image. I didn't realize that was why, until I'd done it for a while.

And I'm really happy with my partners.

Another funny anecdote in this range -- my male partner actually LIKES the t-shirts and jeans better than skirts and blouses and makeup, which make (or used to make) him feel awkward. When I found this out, early in getting to know him, I went FULL femme for a couple days -- wore skirts and stockings and makeup -- just until he got used to it, and said "yeah, that's still you." Then I went back to dressing however I felt like dressing. :-)

I stated that I like to see women dressed cute. Men like the fact that a woman can dress many different ways, and still look feminine.

I worked with a girl that married a customer, a very well to do customer at that. They seem to be happy although everyone is skeptical about it.

Rent the Enron vid, number 3 man who is not on trial, Japanese fellow left Houston with 300mill and pregnant exotic dancer, now his wife and child, resides in Colorado and is incidentally largest private landowner in said state. If strip clubs mimic the real world in one way ... it is stories like this, investment banker in NY gives dancer 80k stock tip etc that beatiful women and money go hand in hand.

I once worked in a small "members only" club in Hong Kong that was quickly running out of members, because they kept marrying the dancers. Of course being that it was Hong Kong, the members were all million and billionairs.

By the time I got there, management forced the dancers to all live in communal flats and kept watch on us 24/7. They had to keep their members some how!

Headline that Prince Harry visited strip club during military grad party, just adds fuel to the fire, rich men don't want alot of the head games and I believe clubs can offer a chance for people of different socio-economic backgrounds to meet and mix, as for the average joe hoping to meet a wife who knows. As long as their are nice honest people on both sides of the fence introduced into an atmosphere that good clubs offer, love marriage and hopefully happiness can be the result.

I really don't think it has much to do with "dancers" or "customers", rather than people being people.

My situation was similar to Morrigan's. He became a custy for a while after we started dating. It was the most fun lapdance I ever got to give. After a while he stopped coming, as SCs weren't for him.

That is an OLD MOTTO. Doesn't apply to the new american economics. When was the last time you had to try and fight an unfair charge on your phone bill? Or an error your bank made? I'm sure the customer service personnel did everything they could to keep you happy, right?

Anyway, back to the original topic...
Yes, it is possible to fall in love at a stripclub. It happened to Anna Nicole Smith and her (now decesed) husband, right? I also work with plenty of girls that date the customers and fall in love. I just can't think of any that actually worked out for a long term relationship. Oh, and usually the guy was broke or bankrupt when he finally broke it off with his stripper girlfriend. Then the dancer bitches about what a loser he was for not being able to keep her in the style to which she was accustomed.
