Default where to find specific types of clothing?

I know of a bunch of sites that sell dancer clothing, but most of it is too costume-y for my tastes. I hate stuff that's neon or loud coloured, patterned (leopard print makes me want to die inside ), fake jewels sewn on, has cutouts or looks like it's been shredded, or themed stuff (cheerleader, sexy secretary, blah blah blah).

I love wearing satiny corsets with low-rise boyshorts, anything made of lace, black/white/pastel colours/deep purples and blues, flouncy skirts and dresses, (ok, and occasionally doing a moulin-rouge-type costume )

I can't seem to find what i'm looking for, mainly: boyshorts, lace tops, lycra and/or lace skirts/dresses, flowy mini-dresses, string-bikini-style tops...and in solid colours. What little I do have, I got at a store that was having a huge one-time clearance on Fredericks of Hollywood stuff (three brand new $60 corsets for $15!) I'd never buy their stuff regularly, it's just so damn expensive. Does anyone know where to look for the kind of stuff I'm wanting, preferably not at exorbitant prices?

While I'm posting about clothes, might as well ask about something else i've been wondering....no one in my club really wears garter belts and stockings, and i'd really like to. But how on earth does one get those things off onstage without fumbling, taking forever and looking stupid? I mean, a pair of shorts, you just take them off in one go and that's that...but garter belts and stockings look a lot more complicated.

Good luck finding a cheap corset that isn't total crap! Ebay's probably your best bet.

I wear garterbelts at work a lot, and I don't bother to take them off. The right style of belt will show your thong and/or naughty bits just fine. If you work at a nude club, I would just undo the garters (can be done it a sexy way), pull thong down as usual, and leave garters dangling.

I work in a nude club and wear garters, but I don't undo them, just wear the thong over it. That's what pretty much all the girls in my club who wear garters do. Works for us!

What about finding someone who can custom make what you want? Just be warned cheap corsets and lingerie style corsets use poor quality plastic boning and have a common tendency to bend and dig into you. OUCH, very uncomfortable!

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I love BodyZone Convertables brand. All their tops and bottoms are sold seperatly, and they are all in the same colors so you can mix and match different style tops and bottoms. One website with a lot of their clothing is www.gottahavitny.com and you click on Enter Store, and then on the left click on Club/Dancewear for the BodyZone stuff. They also have some cute corsets and a lot of other cute stuff.
Take the road less traveled- just make sure you have a map.

Thanks, Madison! I will check that out.

And thanks for clearing up the garter dilemma

Grace: actually, i'm okay on corsets for now; that was the one thing I managed to get quite a few of at that sale.

That's also what you should do in real life unless you like the hassle when you're trying to pee. Also breakaway thongs are great for that too.

There's a lot of clothing site links here: http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57303

    Anyone can help me?

ok, your style seems about like mine. Go to - I love the lingerie line DreamGirl. It's good quality, looks great on stage, very girly and not too slutty or loud, and is relatively inexpensive.

As far as stockings on stage - SUPER simple - buy the stay up thigh-highs. You don't need to take them off on stage and you don't need to attach the garters.
