    Default Total Gym

I just watched the infomercial for the Total Gym with Chuck Norris and Christie Brinkley, and it looks really cool. I went on their website and it costs about $1600. I've seen ads for it on TV a few times already, but this was the first time I actually sat down and watched the whole infomercial, and it looks like you can do pretty much any exercise on it. Has anyone tried this before? I might be interested in ordering it, but I wanna know if it actually works first. There is a 30 day trial for $49.95, but I was just wondering if any of you have one of these or have tried one, and what you thought about it. I'm sick of having to go to the gym all the time, and I think it would be much more convenient if I could do all the same exercises at home.
Take the road less traveled- just make sure you have a map.

I have it, and it's pretty awesome. Make sure you watch the video that comes with it though, some of the exercises are difficult at first to set up, but if you pay attention to the tape you'll be fine, and you'll really reap the benefits. I saw pretty amazing results in just two weeks!

I own one; paid $450 for it. Loved it--when I used it.

I used the cheap total gym for about 10yrs - never broke down, but just recently upgraded to the same exact model they use in the infomercial, but instead of $1600, I got it for $600 plus free shipping. The total gym people have an Ebay store where they sell the slightly imperfect models for $600. They could be scratched somewhere or just have a very tiny imperfection, I have yet to see why mine was a "so called" reject, they are fully warrantied too. Anyway, I love mine and if anyone is thinking about getting one, check out their store on Ebay. They even threw in the pilates accessory kit for free.

My mom has the Total Gym and she loves it. When we move into our new house, we're putting that NEW Bow Flex in the basement...along with the Total Gym and a Pilates Reformer (the real one, not the cheapie one they sell on TV). I can't wait!!

Have begun using my Total Gym again! Three sets of each whatever. Definitely causes me to reach "muscle exhaustion." (Then again, I'm weak as a kitten.)

VG, Bowflex? Love their informercials. But Jesus they are expensive & BIG.

I have this contraption I bought at target, it just assists you with crunches and situps, but i found out you can also do arm excercises on it. It was only $16 and it's making a difference in my lower abs already!
