Guilty...I'll always be a hair band fan!Got it from Mom and Dad, I guess.
yah!!! im listening to warrant as we speak.. my bf went to high school with the lead singer.. my bf was his idol in high school bc he was such a star athlete... its really funny..

Hehe...here's a good one to show how much I took from Mom and Dad. Once I asked the Sunday school teacher to sing Guns 'N Roses "Welcome to the Jungle"...needless to say, nobody else knew that song.Haha!
I subscibed to Sirius just to hear channel 23 - Hair Nation, 24hr access to the greatest in 80's/90's hair metal![]()

I remember listening to Quiet Riot,Ratt,Scorpions and bands like that.

I could boogie to hair bands all night.
Gonna see Quiet Riot very soon. Rawr.

I mostly like 90's rock, but once in a while I'll go through a stage where I play a lot of 80's rock. I like dancing to Poison, Quiet Riot, Ratt, Guns -n- Roses, Warrant, Motley Crue, Alice Cooper, Van Halen, etc. I'm so sick of hearing "Girls, Girls, Girls" by Motley Crue though-that song needs to be permanently retired from strip clubs!

I cringe when guys request "Girls", lol...
Jackyl and Firehouse are pretty good for a change of 80s Hairband pace. Def Lepard tracks still tend to be winners, overplayed as they are. Breat White "Rock Me" is pretty hot still, too.
Too tired from work to go on, sorry.

I've just installed a pole in my living room, and I LOVE dancing to Dokken, Tesla, and Whitesnake in the privacy of my own home...rolling around on the floor pretending I'm a video vixen!
I agree with the above posts about Girls, Girls, Girls though...I did an amateur night not long ago and that got played and I wanted to run off the stage! It's so cheesy!
Hair Metal is great. I'm listening to Damn Yankees right now. Seventeen by Winger would be a good SC tune. I also heard that Ted Nugent and Sebastian Bach are going to be on Rock Star 2. That will be 3 shades of awesome.

The scream at the beginning of Skid Row's "Monkey Business" always makes me throw the goat and jump around. Rawk!
Sebastian Bach totally looks like shit, now, though. I also saw Stephen Pearcy from Ratt on one of those 80's shows on VH1 and WHOA....he's giving Keith Richards a run for the money in the "Look, I should be dead" competition.

Don't forget:
Black Sabbath - Neon Nights
Kingdom Come - Get It On
Zebra - Tell Me What You Want

Don't forget about Faster Pussycat and LA Guns. I loved my glam less pretty and more trashy...yummy.
Funny about rock stars getting older. When I see the reunion shows at the smaller venues these days, they still look great to me. I think it's because I'm aging with them so my mind just sees them the same way as they were in their glory days.
