Default How to sell discount dances

I have a question that maybe someone could help me out with. At my club, we do several "revues" a shift. All the girls get up on stage for about a minute then we try to sell 3-$30 dances where the customer either gets an article of clothing or a free drink. We only get $15 out of the $30 so I hate doing them anyway but for the life of me I can't figure out a way to sell them other than "hi whats your name blah blah would you like to go back for a dance" We can only spend about 30 seconds with each guy and I never quite know what to say to get them to go back. I would definatly love some advice from someone who knows what I am talking about. Thanks

We do 3 -for- $30 at my club too. I just walk up and say, "Hi we're having the 3-4-$30 right now, so basically it's a 50% off dance! Usually it's $20 for ONE song, but if you get the 3-4-$30 you'll get 3 long songs of me dancing for you! Let's go" Then I smile really big, and from there it's a wrap!

Also, at my club, we have "panty dances" where we have to put on thongs and then sell them. Trust me, they sell like hot cakes! You could also have a mock garter, and tell the customer that after the dance you MAY let him pull it off with his teeth...his to keep of course.

my old club used to do this and you had to get your guy fast, or you were screwed (they made you pay the club cut anyway.) So since time was valuable, I would always say "hi, we're doing a dance promo right now...this is the perfect time to get a dance with me." The guys that have no interest just no without you having to do your pitch. When you say "promo" they know it's a special deal.

If they ask what it is, I would say "for $30, you get two dances with me, and the club wants you to have this shirt with it too"

most guys do not want the shirt, so I think it worked better to put it as an afterthought. They don't want to feel like they are paying for something they don't want. And soemtimes we did a drink too, but it was only a certain energy drink that the owner was trying to promote.

I usually say, "Would you like to buy me while I'm on sale?"

It's a good ice breaker, and (if they have a sense of humor) very difficult to say no to.

And if they do say no, just smile and say "OK, I'll come back when I'm full price"

because it's their job to mismanage and extort as much as possible from dancers!

so glad the club i'm at doesn't do anything like that. The only times I can think of were at one club where they played "who let the dogs out" while every girl went on stage (pre-advertisement) & then sold did 2 for 1s. The other time was some employees birthday (from the club) & they FORCED me to go on stage with every other girl to dance for him. They also forced me to do a lot of other things, like make me stay longer than my 6 hour shift & numerous other things. No wonder why we get anxiety.

Who let the dogs out?! UGH! I worked at one club where they would keep giving us the shaft trying to make cheapos spend something. Like, if a 2-4-1 wouldnt sell theyd do a 3-4-1. No 3-4-1s, yeah, 4-4-1s!!!! I like britney's line. In fact britney, I'm gonna use that.

Just a quick update. I tried the "Would You Like To Buy Me While I'm On Sale" line. The first guy bought it right up. Thanks again for the advice

I get really annoyed when a strip club plays that old song about a hooker "Roxanne" I really don't think the customers need any further encouragement from the music in their misconceptions about us, thanks! You ladies think you've got the short end of the stick... at my club lap dances are $20 and the club keeps $10.... always! How much does that blow?

I still think my old club wins with the 12-for-1 special. I wonder if they're still doing that...

My club used to make us do a parade at around midnight, it was a ridiculous waste of time, it took about 1/2 an hour and we all had to give a free table dance at the end. I hated it so much i used to hide in the toilets throughout the whole thing. Why should you have to give freebies and discounts, i really dont think tactics like these make the guys spend anymore money. Another club i used to work in did 2 4 1 dances during the day which was ok as it was quiet during the day and this sort of enticed people in but on a Friday or Saturday night at peak time? No way!

My club does an "uptime" where two table dances are $20 (normal price), and lap dances are 2 for $40 ($10 off). The house gets half of this, so we essentially are doing twice the work for the price of 1 dance. Grr. Anyway, we usually bring out jello shots for the guys, and my sales pitch is often

"Do you like jello? Cos it jiggles all the way down...and my boobies jiggle in your face. With all the jiggly jiggly fun, what could be better? Let's go play." It makes them laugh so they usually buy it. My other uptime pitch is "how would you like two looong, looooong songs of my body sliding up and down yours? Let's go have some fun." If they're interested, they'll give me time to explain it to them, and we head off. If they're not, they just say no, and I move on. It's really fast and effective.
    Dude! You're getting ADELLE!!!

Our usual deal is 3 dances and X product for 20 dollars. We pay the house 10 dollars, so we're only getting 10 dollars for 3 songs of dancing. However, if you don't sell it, you give the product back and don't get charged. I don't see what the incentive is for us, but I sell them anyway. I haven't NOT sold one yet, so I guess I'm doing something right.

I walk up to a guy, smile, and say, "Would you like 3 dances and a T shirt?". We promo it really prominently, all the girls walk down the stage, so the guys all know the deal. They either want you or they don't, is my take, so most of the time they aren't even thinking of the price right away. Usually they say yes, then, "How much is it?" I tell them it's 20 dollars on the floor or 35 in the back, which is more private and a better dance. I can upsell it about 1/3 of the time, which is great, cause I'm making a lot more money, percentage wise.

The problem is the mafia runs your industry (don't tell me otherwise as I KNOW this personally), so you're going to get guys who are connected over guys who are talented running your show.

IF you knew this personally you would not be discussing such a thing across the Internet. It's like a made man going into the nearest bar and saying .. " Guess what I work for * insert family name here.*

Seriously dude, you have been watching WAY to much Television.

Ha, after flaunting my selling of the special I actually didn't sell one tonight! On the other hand, the guy said he just didn't want the tshirt and got dances anyway which made me the same profit, so oh well
