    curious and willing however lost

Hey to all, M name is Nadja and I've been really thinking seriously about becoming a dancer, it never seemed like a possibility until I lost about 40 lbs and still working on it. I was so intrigued by this clothing store here in Baltimore and I dunno I feel a littel lost. SO I need some advice on where to begin but I've been really nervous....maybe all the great strippers will laugh at my non-experienced young butt for asking for advice lol. Really I mean..where do I begin...all I know is about what kind of shoes to wear and laws one gstrings and stuff. but an audition...jeeze how to a pratice for that and what if I cant do all those super duper pole tricks. SHould I tan....I pride myself in being pale so ugh to tanning but should I anyways. And is there such thing as too tall to be a stripper....Is my hair too short. Should I get waxed....well thats a yes...but...I need guidance...help!

I know how that goes, I got intrigued by the industry at a dancer-wear store. Do some forum searches on auditioning (there's tons of material in there). Nobody expects you to be awesome right out of the gate (most people can spot a new dancer a mile away) and a lot of veterans still don't do pole tricks. Things like that will come with time. You don't have to tan but some girls do. It's all about having your own image! Explore the forums and you'll be fine!

don't tan if you don't want to. i am very pale and i get compliments all the time from customers at the club about my skin. as you know, tanning is horrible for your skin. just think- you won't have as many wrinkles when you are 50!

You don't have to tan but there is a way to get that darker looking skin that you get from tanning. I use a self tanner that has a bronzer in it. I get the tan apperence without the side effects of tanning. Look into it if your interested but there is somehting to say for that healthy look of natrual.

For the record I think that there is no such thing as too short of hair or too tall of a dancer. I know of a few that are about 6 feet tall and still wear the tall shoes. Some men are into the tall girl thing. I am 5 ft 7 in and have no problems with tall shoes or getting tipped while at work.

The pole trick things will come to you. It was almost 6 months before I did my first pole trick. There are girls out there that may help you by teaching you tricks. Just watch what they do and how they do it.

    GOOD LUCK!!!!
