The salon suites at the Bellagio are still open for that weekend. It's about 853 sq. feet, which is a step below the Penhouse Suites and would probably be around $2,500 for the long weekend, which is a steal. The Venetian also has availability for the King Suites at about the same equivalent rate, but if we do the Venetian, everybody will be in the restaurants, shops and on the casino floor and nowhere near the suite, which, come to think of it, is where they should be. The time I spend at the Venetian shops with a credit card and a dancer can be very unsettling to my accountant, though. I must have mercy on him. Also, the hooker traffic at the Venetian is getting increasingly aggressive, particularly back by the parking garages, where they will not take 'no' for an answer. Admirable sales techniques, to be sure, but we'd have to bail out and get to the clubs early to avoid that traffic.
Oh, and if we do the rental bus, let's just rent a Hummer limo or something, not a bus. We need to draw the line somewhere and I draw a permanent line at a friggin' bus. A Jag yes, a Beemer, yes, even an Audi convertible, yes, but a bus is just something that is a bit too hard on my soul.
