    Default jobs for felons...

Im thinkin about bailin my man outta jail tomorrow.... (he's a really good sensitive sweet intelligent man---trouble just follows his ass) he's been in for a month just because he needs to learn that im tired of getting him out the first night. SO im thinkin of makin the 4 hour drive to try to talk a bondsmen into workin with me since he was a FTA. ANYWAYS....i miss him to death and im not going trough an abortion with out him being there... he's gonna suffer just like me. But the question is..... how does a felon find a job? I know they got services some where to assist these guys but how do we find them? Hmmm... dumb boy.

Why not leave him there and move on with your life, and find a productive, responsible guy who's not going to spend his life committing felonies and sitting in jail?

More like dumb you. Plus it seems like trouble follows you in the form of the men you choose. Sorry sweetheart but this is your bed you lay in it, so to speak and your aborting a baby too? Good is all I can say. Is that mean? No it's truthful because the way things are going for you ( from your post) if you were to have a kid it would probably wind up abused and abandoned and then again there would be another confirmation that all strippers are evil and so forth.

Frankly I am sick to death of women ( I should say girls as you don't act grown )
like yourself that makes it just that much more difficult for individuals like myself who work ourselves to death trying to make a better life for ourselves in this industry. Everyone makes mistakes yes, but for petes sake stop making the same one over and over.

Then again perhaps your man isn't so dumb after all, he's got you working for him - to bail his felony doing behind out of jail and to find him a job.. Hey go you!

Finding a job for a felon is kinda tough, the easiest way would be to know someone somewhere that can give him a job, or he'd need to start his own business which it kinda hard as well. Good Luck!!!

When we met the first 5 months was perfect...no problems...til we moved to a bad area and he quit his job (because i wanted him to stay here with me instead of going with his work crew back to north carolina he did construction anyways, it was hard for him to find another job with his record so he started hustlin....which got him in trouble. I wasnt looking for a man...i do good on my own...i dont want another man....im sick of seeing them at work. Its not a thing about having a man at my side....i just want shawn. thats all. so im hoping he'll change...i always think someone will change. if not then im gone. but i do wanna get him out and give him the chance to do right. and i don rely on him for bills...i oay all my own bills and buy my own diamonds. i dont need a man for that. just the love he gives. sigh...

People never change. Sounds to me like he's had multiple chances and he keeps committing felonies. But hey, if you want to spend all your money and life on bailing out an unemployable felon who likes to be in jail more than he likes to be with you... go for it. And good for him that he's got a girl like you.

CROW: I do have a 2 yr. old girl who is spoiled with love and everything she could ever need. She has her own bedtime, reads books with mama, loves her military daddy, is the smartest in her daycare class. She has never been abused or abandoned. She eats good, is not to be around people who smoke, and is very social. The reason I am thinking of abortion is because I AM A STUDENT who works 2 jobs and the dad cant seem to do right. There u go for my abused and abandoned child. Im a pretty damn good mother for being 21 yrs. old. And thanx to the other ladies.....Shawn can keep his tail in jail cause I really dont have time to be bothered with his mess.
    Thanx

And you didn't get one. Do your 2-year-old a HUGE favor and cut all ties with him. You don't want her to see you with a felon once she gets old enough to know what's going on, do you?

And you guys wonder why I hate the Carolinas... this is typical. There is nothing good, sweet, or intelligent about being a convicted felon! There is no excuse for getting into trouble.... Damn, I was programmed and I wasn't this bad. That poor 2 year old is already messed up... you know it! Please for God's sakes get an abortion!

My 2 yr. old never met him because my ex husband and I agreed to not bring her around a g/f or b/f until it turned into being a healthy long term relationships so she woudnt get confused seeing make-ups and break-up. Trust me, my baby is safe.

What does that have to do with this situation????? Since you brought it up... my ex is a great man who took a lot of responsibility caring for his wife and daughter at the age of 18. He is 2nd class in the NAvy, coaches lil tee ball, and is an excellent daddy. We only split because we married too young and felt it was better to seperate before arguments turned worse due to our immaturity. We just were not ready to marry. Anything else?

I know the Carolinas.... being in the navy and coaching in no way prove that a person is healthy or that they have the capacity to raise a healthy child. Based on the fact that you are dating a felon, I would presume that your first husband is also immoral and incapable. Jumping classes or dating good men then bad is next to impossible there. People are rigid and categorized, and very controlled. Your situation is all-encompassing, you are so deluded because this is all you have ever known, that you will continue throughout your life to make poor decisions.

What the hell does geography have to do with this problem??

I've lived all over this country (California, Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, SOUTH CAROLINA), and traveled every corner of it, and there is NO difference in the basic goodness or shittiness of people based on where you are. There are good people and shitty people everywhere.

    You are derailing.

Hold on hold on....... MY EX HUSBAND DEON IS A GOOD MAN LEAVE HIM OUT OF THIS. This whole thead is about my so called boyfriend Shawn who is the bad guy here. And hes good at mind games cause he sure had me fooled until i was so caught in his trap belieivng he was a genuinly good man. Then he started acting up. About 4 posts ago i stated that i was going to keep him in jail so i wouldnt spend my school money or miss school driving down south to get him. I said thank you for the advice.U guys are still attacking me. The point of this thread was IF I WAS TO GET HIM OUT....how could he find a job being a felon. You guys turned it around to me being a piece of shit mother who loves a piece of shit felon.I love u girls on this board... but this isn't cool. Im a good person trying to get opinions on this decision. I fell in love with the person Shawn USED TO BE.....that doesnt make me bad that my feelings didnt just disappear when he went into hand cuffs. Anyways... dont insult my mothering abilities or my ex husband please. I ask for your advice here, not put downs.

There IS more growth and more opportunities in certain areas than others, there are more successful people, the crime rate is much lower, education is better, and you have to be at a certain level to exist there. It isn't about shitty vs. good... It's about a mindset and about morality, certain areas just won't deal with the bullshit I see going on out there. It's pure ghetto. There's not a whole lot of change going on. But yes you are right... there are good and shitty people everywhere, there are just less shitty people in certain areas because they can't get their groove on there like they can in the crime-ridden areas. It's cleaner, the people are more intelligent and more open-minded, and success-driven. These areas are based on merits, not on social class or who your daddy is, which is what the Carolinas are all about. People are just STUCK out there. It's a long road to nowhere.

Soooo. your explaining this to me because why? I'm not questioning what your doing, I'm questioning the how you got to this point. I'm all for abortion in the right situation, I'm all for choice and you seem to of made some bad ones.

You want to be grown then start acting like it.

Pick yourself up, move on and get over it.
