Thumbs down Damn drug dealers and "regulars"!

Last night I had one of the worst nights of my stripping career. I like the club an I love the people there, but it's not a big money club in the first place, and last night was just bloody horrible. Almost all the guys in the place were drug dealers sitting around without tipping or buying any dances, talking on cell phones and drinking beer. One kept trying to impress me with his entrepreneurial skills and bragged that he spent $1000 a month on all his cell phones - yeah, but he didn't tip a single dollar the whole time he was there.

And the rest of the guys were all regular bar customers, most of whom were very friendly but just there to drink beer and chat with the girls for free. Whenever I suggested dances or moving the conversation to VIP (obviously not in those terms), they would just laugh and say, "Oh no, I don't get dances! I just come here to hang out!" And most of the girls would happily oblige because there was no one else there anyway.

I know they're not all bad nights, but I'm finding it very difficult to get motivated to go tonight. I'll be there, but it's going to be hard to be bubbly and fun after last night. I just PRAY tonight is better!!

oh god...my old club used to have tons of drug dealers in there. And everyone knew it but nobody did anything! And girls would hang out with them because they were usually the dealers' customers.

I would try to explain that I respect their job by not narcing them out, and they should respect mine and tip!

Sometimes it'd work. But maybe I was pushing it! it's probably not a good idea to be confrontational with drug dealers, but sometimes you just feel like that's all that's in there and you get frustrated.

Anyway, tonight will be better. It HAS to be!

I was really surprised, as it's a very nice, classy club. I love the club. I didn't see any actual drug deals occurring, but all the guys said they were just there to do "business," so I guess it was just going on where I couldn't see it. I can be pretty clueless sometimes.

I love your two-way respect proposition. I dunno that I'd want to threaten narc'ing to a drug dealer though. Thing is, these weren't apparently real drug dealers anyway; as far as I can tell, they were just selling weed and ecstasy. Small-time jackasses!

Did she make that at THIS club? If so, I would say that's a once-a-year type thing. It's not that I don't hustle. It was just one of those nights. I'm going to perk up and get in it tonight as best I can... I'm just really starting to freak out because I can't pay my bills on this. I could've stayed in Los Angeles to be insulted by Mexicans and ignored by drug dealers for $100 a night, and I wouldn't have had to pay for a motel.

I'm not exaggerating. There were two big groups of drug dealers, and one small-time idiot who all but told me he was dealing weed and ecstasy. But maybe I was just off my game last night. For some reason I always tend to have a really bad second night at every club, and then things get better.

And the free house fee was just the first night, and yeah, that helped. Last night I paid $50, which is still pretty low by Vegas standards but it's almost as much as I got to keep once I went home and paid for my motel. I've got to do better tonight!! I'm psyching myself up for it right now and splurging on Thai delivery so I'll be well-fed. Fried tofu is my favorite treat ever.

I hope you have a better night this time around. You just need to take everything with a grain of sand... Besides, if that's your worst night EVER... then you're not doing so badly.

that'll still get their stupid asses arrested! What a bunch of assholes. That could end up getting your club raided them sitting there talking about that crap.

Thanks, y'all... I had a nice hot shower, shaved, did my hair, and I'm feeling better. Once my Thai delivery gets here, I'll have a nice meal of Mongolian beef with fried tofu and rice, and I'll be tip-top. I'm psyched and ready to rumble!

    Hey Yek,
Just to let you know, Vegas isn't for everyone.

I hated dancing there. It was all about being pushy and getting rooms. No real conversation, just trying to get customers to spend money, while at the same time not promising to have sex w/ them... I found dancing in Vegas to be boring at best, and criminal at worst.

I did find an angel to work- couples. I had some couples spend big time on me for some freaky VIP time. It got to the point that the floor host was sending couples my way, so I stayed busy.

I do love dancing here in Oregon. I like the stage time, and the no contact rules. So I'm not just being grumpy about dancing in general. You just have to find a club and a style of performing that works best for you.

It was a little better money-wise, not great but better. And I had a good time and hung out with some really cool people, and Guenevere made me a beautiful dress in my favorite color, and I bought another of her outfits that I can't wait to wear. Dunno if I can plug her craft here, but her clothes are GORGEOUS!!

I was going to go to another club afterward and pull a two-club double shift, but my dumb ass left my sheriff's card at the club and no one was there for me to get it by the time I remembered. Oh well, I'll do a double today!

Paris, funny you should say that because a couple made my night last night. By 2 a.m. I hadn't made hardly anything and I was starting to get upset, but then the bouncer sent me to a couple in one of the VIP areas and they made my entire night. I loooooooove dancing for women, and I love threesomes, so I had fun and made a nice chunk of change. I gave the bouncer almost 20% of what they spent, so hopefully I can make a little career out of couples as well!

I'm sure that bouncer will be sending you more business!

    Smart move...

Hope tonight is going well for you.

I have seen a lot of dealers in the clubs, trust me, it kinda goes with the territory, at least around here.

A dead giveaway is if he's nasty looking--as in ugly or scummy--isn't getting any dances, and yet always has certain dancers hanging all over him, rubbing on him, etc. Maybe it's different in Vegas.

Then there are the younger better-looking dealers. They get a lot of attention when they come in, and usually after they leave too, lol...

Needless to say, a lot of the dancers I have worked with have serious drug habits.

I hear it's common, but the strippers I've worked with seem to have less of a drug problem than the actors I've worked with. I guess it's territory. Anyway they're wasting their time on me... I hate drugs. I don't even like weed. Coke is pleasant while you're on it, but it's not worth the expense or the next day, and besides, you never know what it's cut with. Drugs just aren't worth the bother to me, unless you count the wine I have when I get home from work.

I'm glad to hear they are wasting their time on you, though hardly surprised. It is bothersome to me to see dancers wasting their time trying to get drugs from dealers, when there are customers sitting at other tables alone, who might give them money instead. But you learn to laugh and move on with it.

I would count wine as a mind-altering substance, but a little wine to relax after work never hurt anyone, and it's probably a good habit for your peace of mind.

Now if you chugged a fifth of tequila after work every night, you might have a problem...

LOL! Nah, but I do like wine. And I allow myself one vodka tonic per shift, if it's early in the night and someone else is buying it. That's it for me and the mind-altering substances!

    Nice stuff, Guenevere...

I especially liked the corsets and that mesh nude thing, pretty hot.

We have a dancer who also makes outfits and I sometimes talk her up for this 'A multi-talented woman who designed and made that sex outfit she is wearing', etc., especially when she is wearing one of them, they are good.

Unfortunately she hasn't done it much recently, she is one of those dancers who has a habit. It's sad to see, she is very pretty, a great dancer, and has a lot of spirit--and right now it's all going to waste.

    So it goes...

This is a really, really bad town for it--but she does have a lot of spirit, and that can help a lot. I know she was clean for a while about 6 months ago, until she started fucking one of the 'stud' dealers. If she did it before, she can do it again.

You dont have to narc them out. They likely all have well-established records with LE. I guess what I don't understand is why clubs aren't raided for drugs more often. One was around here and lost its liquor license, went nude but this is not a good area for such a club, and will probably go out of business soon as it hardlyt has any business left. Just get word out to the 'drug dealers' that the club is being constantly watched outside and inside. They will get the message.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

NOTE: anything I post here, outside of a direct quote, is my opinion only, which I am entitled to. Take it for what you estimate it is worth.
