Funny/wierd story of the last weeks events.
A friend (J) of mine from work is hanging out at our place, and gets a call from another friend who has just found out about a private party job where the girl no-showed.
J already has a shift at our club tonight, and if she doesnt show she would be the fourth cancellation that day - and as a result get fired. But the skimpy waitressing job is a "guaranteed" $300, whereas the shift she was supposed to work averages around $200, so she wants to ditch it.
So she starts trying to guilt me into it, I say that I cant get in cos we've all been drinking (not too mention that Id already worked the arvo shift, and we have guests!) so she offers to give me $50 PLUS pay for the taxis there and back (about another $50) so Ill cover for her.
Basically she wants to screw me into doing a quieter shift so she can make the $$$
I feel bad (yeah ok Im too nice) and agree dragging a girlfriend along (shes been thinking about stripping so it was good for her to check it out)
We're there 2 hours, Ive made $150 and shit hits the fan. I leave (as I was covering J's arse I only had to hang around until 2am) just as a drunken birthday party are smashing the place up, (and stealling security away from the changeroom door and the guy trying to get in!!!)
Ok shitty night, but hey $150 is $150 that I didnt have earlier!
Next morning Im around at Js house (her roommate is a beautician and was doing my nails, brows etc) and J comes in.
She arrived at the gig with NO skimpy experience. The guys started pushing for nude, and her to do dances. So she does (feeling very threatened) and doesnt bother asking for any money up front.
Can you guess the punchline? Yes she was screwed over and ended up working for 4 hours for $100, nearly getting raped and beaten (God knows why she had NO security) and doing a heap of work for FREE! If shed done her real shift she'd have walked out with $200+, in less time, with less hassle.
Moral of the story : dont try to screw over your fellow dancers, cos Karma is a bigger bitch than us all!

Even when I first went to Kal to do my first ever Skimpy work I realised what the 'rules' were even before I landed in Perth! The same rule as per the strip clubs: don't believe a word the other patrons say about other skimpies and/or anything really!
