do you feel obligated to spend time with a customer after he buys a dance from you? i always feel rude if i don't sit with him for a few minutes back at his table afterwards.

If the club is busy I just tell the custy that I have others waiting for dances and that I will check on him later. It works for me and keeps the custy's happy. I do go back and check on them after I have done some other dances to see if he would like another dance. Thats when I spend a few minutes with them.

You're not obligated. A little time afterwards might help your repeat business, but if it's busy and you've got other dances to go do, simply politely excuse yourself, perhaps with a bit of "I'll come visit you later" thrown in if you think there is the potental for some more dances or cultivating a regular.

When I first started, I thought it would be a nice gesture to do so...now shi...time is money baby. I smile tell them thanks for the dance, and that I'll try stop back and see them. Or I tell them to enjoy the rest of their night.

yep yep, time IS money.. if we are slow I will hang out just for the sake of checking out the room while I keep him company. If we are busy the guy usually understands that I have to keep moving to makethat money. Most guys know that we have to pay to work at the club so they understand that we have to keep moving.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..
