Hmmm... The club I work at doesn't let you use lotion, but maybe you could work at a club without poles.

In winter, I sometimes have a flareup of eczema on my eyelids...it looks like I'm wearing pink eyeshadow !!! Pretty, but it burns like heck

I was very happy to discover a special eczema creme (it's a gel, actually) made especially for eczema. The reason it works so well is that, when the gel dries, it forms a barrier on your skin....this keeps the moisturizer in constant contact with your skin. It's totally clear, and feels a bit like I've brushed egg whites on my lids and let it dry...not unpleasant at all (to me). You should try it....

I will come back and post a link in a few minutes

I know for a fact its eczema.Dermatoligist verified. The stuff he gave me was too greasy and it didn't help. I have begun using that dermarest stuff and it was working. Unfortunatly I had a stress attack which made things worse again. Thanks for all the help.

I have the same exact problem too. My two fingers on my right hand are getting really bad. I tried using the creams that the dermatologist gave me but nothing really happened.....maybe got better for a few days but then came back. I'll try that dermarest stuff too and see what happens The only thing that really helps so far is keeping my hands away from water and especially HOT water.

Long time lurker, first time poster. (Who woulda thought that this would be my first post?)

Anywho - I actually work for a company (based out of NJ) that imports products from France that help with this skin conditions. The product is called Eau Thermale Avène (It means "Avène spring water"). The website is:

You can buy the water or many different products (lotions and sunscreens and all sorts of stuff) made from the water. You can pick it up in selected CVS stores and other similar pharmacies. Or if you don't want to go looking for it, I'm sure I can nag our marketing staff to snag a few bottles.

Only condition - if you buy a bottle and it works for you; you have to post and spread the word!

I developed eczema on my lower leg last year!! It was horrible because it itched like poison ivy..........which is what I thought it was as first and I thought I would get scars. My dermatologist said it can be caused by stress and I was going through a very stressful period in my life.
He gave me shots, different samples of topical ointments like Protopic, U-Cort, Temovate.......none of them worked well. I ended up purchasing Caladryl lotion ~~ that seem to work for me.
