I really like how Pamela wore her hair in Barb Wire and Baywatch, sorta wavy, defined and seperated with loads of volume. Any styling tips on how to get it like that would be much appreciated![]()

A Good Girl With Bad Intentions
Hire a professional hairstylist with top-of-the-line equipment and several years' experience, and have that hairstylist stand by for touchups every five minutes or so. That's how it's done on TV and in the movies.

Two suggestions for you:
If you have time and/or a bonnet type hair dryer- After you shampoo, condition, and towel dry to damp, apply a root lifting product (I like Matrix's lift trix foam) at the roots and a lightweight or volumizing gel mid shaft to ends (try Matrix's Amp spray gel). Roll your hair with large, I'm talking 1.5 or larger, velcro rollers. Air dry or stick your head under a bonnet dryer if availible. Remove rollers after completely dry and seperate curls with fingers or a pick. Use a round brush & blow dryer set on high heat to loosen any curls that are too tight. The volume will LAST!!!
Easier, but not as durable- Using the same type of products mentioned before on damp hair, blow dry hair completely. Roll hair with 1.5 inch hot rollers. Spary the base of each rolled section with a light volumizing hairspray (Redken makes a good one). Allow rollers to cool, about 15 minutes. Remove rollers and seperate curls with pick or finger tips. Round brush & high heat to loosen tight curls.
Spray on Redken's Fabricate and tossle hair with hands to add more definition without weighing curl down.

Pam Anderson wears extensions and hair pieces.

Now it all makes sense. I've been wondering about her hair for a looong time. I don't know why I never thought of that.
Mia M has the styling tip right. I do the Pam style on a regular basis. All you need is a layered cut, lots of product and big velcro rollers. It's actually pretty easy if you have the right hair for it.
what is the right hair for it?

Forget about the light hairspray you should look for one thats like concrete, TIGI Hard head is by far my fav..After setting your hair as mentioned above tease the roots and SPRAY the underneath part with hairspray, ThinK 80's BIG and remember she does have hair extensions.
Enough length, layers and texture. I think silky soft hair won't hold the style well. A little bit of damage in your hair actually helps this style hold. I can go to bed on it and it still looks great, sometimes even better in the morning.Originally Posted by Jillian
And yeah, plenty of hairspray plus some teasing at the roots if necessary.

I agree with Zabrina, trashy hair & a long layered cut makes all the difference!
I agree with Mia. This is how I style my hair on a regular basis. Velcro rollers really boost the volume and provide a light curl on the ends. Plus, if you don't have damaged hair, use a texturizer to add volume. Lucky me, my hair is damaged so I don't have a problem.
I also use a styling balm or pomade to separate the sections and define the curls.
Best of luck!

Naturally wavy and curly hair would probably hold the style better........not to mention ya it has to be little damaged, if it's too silky smooth it'll just fall flat and come undone.
Would hot rollers work the same as velcro rollers, or do they give you 2 different types of curl/wave. I've heard horror stories from girls who've used velcro rollers and got them stuck in their hair and had to cut them out, so I'm kind of afraid to try them.
Take the road less traveled- just make sure you have a map.
The hot rollers make it too curly for this look. The velcro rollers make your hair straight except for the big curl at the bottom.
Yes, velcro can be tricky! I had to do some yanking the first few times I tried them, but now I love them. I'd never cut them out, if they get stuck just be patient and unroll them gently. Pull your hair loose little strands at a time if you have to. If you are careful while removing them, this shouldn't be a problem.

Hot rollers will work as long as they're large, like I said before, 1.5 inches or larger.Originally Posted by MadisonM
I've never had to cut a velcro roller out of someones hair. Just be sure to actually unroll them instead of yanking them out.
