    Default A good golden eyeshadow

I'm looking for a nice bronze/gold color eyeshadow. Preferably by MAC. Something with a little glitter. Does anyone have one now that they loooove?

Lately I've been loving the L'oreal - H.I.P. (high intensity pigment) eyeshadow. They have really vibrant colors and the eyeshadow really stays put. I'm sure they have a shimmery gold color.

MAC eyeshadow in Bronze. If you go to the MAC website it gives a desctription of each color. This one says that is " Golden brown with golden bronze shimmer".That sounds like the color you're looking for plus it's MAC!

I love love love MAC's tan pigment. If you apply it wet it looks like a light bronze foil on your lid.

"Midnight Cowboy Rides Again" by Urban Decay. It's my favorite eyeshadow right now.

Another one by Urban Decay that is more on the Brownish side is SMOG, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.....it's got a nice gold sheer to it, you can put it on sorta lightly and make it look semi smoked with some gold fleckage, or put it on a little more thick and it'll look more smokey but with this AWESOME gold sheer to it.......I LOVE it!!!!!!

Here's Urban Decays eyeshadow link, like I said, SMOG!!! (I guess CHAINS would also be a good one too, but I've never seen it in person)

Second that, but I like UD "Chopper" even better. Its more glittery and complements half-baked's shimmeriness.

I love Chopper as well! I'm a big fan of Urban Decay. I use Midnight Cowboy Rides again on my brow, and Chopper on the lid, with a bit of Half Baked in the crease for definition. Add Revlon Colorstay eyeliner in Dark Brown, and I get complimented all night long on my "intense" eyes. All that brown and gold really makes blue eyes pop!

Alright, I'm going to the store today! I had forgotten about how rad Urban Decays eyeshadows are. They have a great silver/charcoal one called Spare Change. It's got this great depth to it, where it looks really smoky where it's applied thicker, but then I can put a little in the inside corners of my eyes and it'll look really shimmery and silver
(it'd look good with blue eyes probably).

But I'm going to write all of these suggestions down and go spend like 30 thousand dollars.

Holiday, I got an Urban Decay eyeshadow sampler with 12 different colors in it, including the three I mentioned. It's in a REALLY nice compact with a huge mirror and four good quality eyeshadow sponges. I think it cost about $20, and there's plenty enough eyeshadow in it to last a good while.

Errrrrr! I just went to the U.D. website and found the exact compact you're talking about but they're out!!!! I want it now! Damn. I'll check back and get it later.

Oh ya and Yek, you totally crack me up because look at this:

there's plenty enough eyeshadow in it to last a good while.
I read it with this whole hick accent and it's hysterical - especially because I know it totally isn't the way you are.

Now I just have that phrase going through my head.

LOL! Actually, I do have a pretty thick Southern drawl if you get me drunk or relaxed. If I'm around Southerners, you'd think I just wandered off the Jerry Springer Show. So the way you imagined it probably is the way I would've said it.

Anyway, good luck finding the compact. I love mine. I even got to use the blue and green shadows in it for 80's Night a few weeks ago... ha. I never would have bought them so it was convenient to have them around already!

Thanks veteranprincess (& Yekehfah)! I just placed my order for the kit (and $50 of other stuff). I'm excited. I'm like a little kid about makeup sometimes. And now I should have plenty enough to last a good while.

I use Maybelline's roller color in 14kt Shimmer and Graftobian's cosmetic powdered metal in Gold.

Honeylust and woodwinked are good MAC shadows, I'd like to add a sugestion of goldmine and mythology. Goldmine is like honeylust, but honeylust is more like a light shimmer and goldmine is like an gold colored shadow with glitter accents. It shows more bold. Mythology is a shimmer type shadow like honeylust but it has a more copper hints to it as well as gold.
