    Default Shoe discoloration

I have this "thing" for wearing black stockings/stay-ups and shoes with a clear upper. I just love black for legs and clear for shoes! But I've found that it discolors the upper part of the shoe, making the material smoke-colored rather than perfectly clear.
Is there any way of preventing this from happening again? Or maybe even removing the discoloration... although I don't think the later is possible.
Odd question I'm sure. But you ladies have the most inventive solutions for all kinds of problems, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Are you wearing the stockings brand new right out of the packaging???If so,that may be the cuplrit. You may need to wash them a few times to get rid of any excess dyes before putting them on.

I was thinking about that earlier, but since I only wear each pair once or twice before throwing them away it seemed like such a hassle.
See? I'm lazy and complaining about it
    N/m me.

    Will do. Thanks!
