    Sad The Human Heart

    Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to know if anyone ever has lil heart problems sometimes; such as feeling a bit achy. Its just feeling like this now.

Im not too sure what it is but right now my heart just doesnt feel like it normally does, I know it sounds weird, but just gets me a lil worried sometimes.

It doesnt happen often but when it does I start to panic and not be able to sleep. Its not a panic attack because I had one of those before!

Anyway I hope someone could help me with what I should do, either a lil exercise to get my heart pumping or something.

    Thanx in advance

Go to the doctor asap, see what he/she says.

I knew this girl who use to complain about her heart and feeling weird and she passed away few weeks later.

Her death is a mistery til this day though.

definetly get to the doctor. It may be something serious, especially if you have other health problems.

Anything that has to do with your heart or your breathing should be taken care of right away, even if it doesn't happen often or doesn't seem like a HUGE problem. Even the biggest medical problems start out small.

I've had that happen to me when I was younger alot but never told anyone cause I was scared...eventually it stoped thank God. If that where to happen now I would run to the doctor. Sometimes it has to do just with stress and anxiety. Definetly check on it though. Do you smoke?

If it sorta feels like that general area (around your heart) is achy and sore feeling, it might actually be a muscle that's sore way down deep, and you're mistaking it as your heart. I've done that before. It's from stress. BUT just as a precaution (since I can't BE there for you to point it out) GO SEE A DOC!!!!

I left work early one night to go to the emergency room because all of a sudden I started having problems breathing and I had a sharp pain near my heart (and I have asthma, so I was worried I was starting to have an attack) so I went to the hospital and they did Xrays and blood work, and it turned out that I had just pulled a muscle in my chest that night and that's all it was. The pulled muscle was making me feel like I couldn't breath. So your problem may just be something minor like that, but you should still get it checked out to make sure.

Is their a reason you can't find a new doctor? I wouldn't want to visit a health practioner that I felt wasn't concerned about my well-being. But you definately shouldn't delay any longer. I always like to write down my symptoms and when they occur (ie morning, after eating, exercising, etc.). This will help your doctor determine and diagnosis your condition. Several years ago my husband complained of chest pains and he went to the ER, fortunately, it turned out to be a pulled muscle. I have also had chronic burning in my chest and I was diagnosed with acid reflux.

Yes---go to the doctor! If you don't like yours, try looking on your insurance company's site for providers. The heart is something you don't mess around with, please go!

Hopefully it will be something minor, though they should do an EKG just to be safe. There are heart healthy foods you can eat: omega 3's (fish), dark chocolate, oatmeal, gosh, there's so many things to do but first you have to find out if anything is seriously wrong! Just on a personal note: I had something similar to what you're describing...At age 10 I started fainting. After many doctor visits they diagnosed me with a congenital defect that needed medication! (I only recently got off of it)...Mypoint was that I needed those drugs, and if I hadn't got them I might no be here talkin to you today! Take care, and keep us posted !
