    Default Lipo 6?

So, I saw this ad for Lipo 6 in a Oxygen magazine, it's a weight-loss suppliment that is designed more for women and is supposed to target thighs and love handles.

Then I went to a Suppliment store and asked what the best weight loss pill was and he went directly to Lipo 6! He said its very popular and effective.

No Epedhra but it has tons of caffeine in it! Has anyone tried it? Does it work? Any side effects? It was pretty expensive..uggh. lol

It says not to drink coffee while taking it. Should I take this seriously? A morning coffee is in my routine....

    Thanks for all the help!

Darling.... I am incredibly anti-diet pill, but when 1) I gained six pounds in a week in Vegas and 2) A GNC employee and fellow diet pill hater who is super careful about what goes in her body recommended it, I bought a bottle. I'm using it for a "jump start" while I shed this drinking weight.

I just bought some yesterday so I can't tell you if it works yet. I'd definitely heed the "no coffee" advice though. It has a ton of caffeine in it, and two pills in the morning will definitely be a replacement for coffee.

We should track our progress here and see if it works.

couldn't you drink a decaf and just pretend? The caffeine pills should give you the same feeling anyways.

Please be very careful. Remember to drink plenty of water. With these "upper" pills you are pushing your body to work harder/faster then normal. I ended up in the hospital a few years back. The pill I was taking did have ephedra, at least what your talking about doesn't. Just be careful. Don't take more than it says to and DO heed all warnings.

Sexy Jess, that's an awesome idea. I've always been really anti-diet pills as well, but really need the help at the moment! Yeah, we should post our reactions and if it works.

And yes, I think that I will heed all warnings and grab a decaf at starbucks this morning instead.
    Thanks ladies.

Lipo 6 was recommended to me by Jen Hendershott. She is a Ms. Olympia pro-fitness champ. I have taken it off and on for about a month. I notice a boost in energy before working out but that is about it. I does nothing to curb appetite or anything, which mine has been haywire for a couple of weeks.

I too went on vacation and gained a few pounds. I keep trying to tell myself that it is water weight but I realize I am going to have to buckle down and get the drinking and diet under control.

I tried it. It was much much too strong for me: racing heart etc. Plus I've heard synephrine is pretty bad stuff. I don't think there's any way a fat burner can specifically target parts of the body; it's just that that's where women tend to store fat. So ignore those marketing claims.

There really is no difference in all of these diet pills. Some just have a more of certain ingredients such as caffiene, green tea, etc. Diet pills are just that, a supplement. NOTHING can take the place of hard work.

If you really want to lose a little or tighten up, the best bet is a sensible weight training routine, a sound nutrition plan and cardio (but don't over due the cardio. Nutrition is the most important aspect of it all). There really is no need for a diet pill unless you are down to those last few lbs or body fat % that you can't seem to lose. Even then manipulating your diet will work much better and with no rebound effect in the long run.

As for coffee with it, you shouldn't mix the two. All that caffiene isn't good for you or the heart. Pick one or the other.

And remember, Lipo 6 or any other fat burner cannot target a certain part of the body. The medical studies these places put up are ludicrous at best. There is no such thing as spot reduction. The body loses weight over all, not just in one spot. That is something no exercise plan or pill can promise. So when picking a fat burner, go with what's cheap, there is nothing special about lipo 6.

Ps. Jen is a nice girl. But she only tells people to take this product because she is endorsed by them. If they paid my way to the Olympia and Arnold Classic, I'd recommend it too! Her fat burning results are from illegal drugs such as t3, dnp and steroids. Not to mention incredible genetics and years and years of training.

Ofcourse she will say it's good! I don't believe in most of those diet pills they sell at the supplement stores. Eat right and exrcise, that will do.
