    Default happy easter..

i just wanted to wish all the practicing ladies and gents a happy easter!!

do you have any special plans this year?

any cool stories about your favorite easter gathering?

i'll start with one of my own

My stepmother's birthday lands on easter every four years, so while my dad was hiding my eggs, he snuck in a few eggs for his wife. her "stone of the year" was topaz so he bought her a set of earrings with the ring and necklace to match and hid them. he put them all in blue eggs and told her if she wanted her birthday gifts she had to egg hunt with me and she could only pick up the blue ones. the look on her face was priceless when she found an egg with one earring and thought she got ripped off...until she found the other three to go with it. i thought it was very romantic...but i was seven at the time so passing the salt was sweet to me...

    Happy Easter!

We just moved into our new house last weekend and I was planning on having a small Easter Egg hunt for Makayla. It rained so that go nixed...but we bought her a Little Tikes Slide set for the yard. We set it up inside and put her basket on top of it. I'd do the Egg Hunt inside, but we have so many boxes and are so far from being unpacked...LOL

Hope everyone has a great Easter!!

When I was a little kid, my Grandma would have a candy and jelly bean "hunt" in her house. It was a lot of fun, since it was an old Victorian with a lot of nooks and crannies and cubby holes to explore. (I suggest you make sure the ledges and such are well dusted first, unless you use wrapped candy, or put the jelly beans in something). Finally, after finding dozens of individual pieces of chocolate or colored sugar, we'd discover the egg filled baskets behind the antique furniture, each with more candy, small toys, and a stuffed animal for each of us. Like Christmas in the Springtime, a great memory.

Egg hunts were cool. Problem was when even those of us who hid them forgot where some were.

    Happy Easter everyone!!

Last year I was 8 months pregnant and had complained that I didn't have a ring. So my man woke me up first thing in the morning and told me the Easter Bunny had come. Reluctantly I drag my fat ass out of bed to get my basket. I had been such a horn dog my whole pregnancy. I masterbated a LOT. So in my Easter basket was a porno and two new dildos along with the usual candy and stuff. After I'd gone through it all I was thanking my man when he told me I had to dig under the grass...there was a ring box, he took it, opened it, and asked if I would marry him. Aww!!

This year we just exchanged some candy and my Mom will be coming over for a ham dinner. I can't wait till our daughter is old enough to get excited about the holidays!

    Happy Easter everyone!!

I don't have any Easter plans per se, but I'm going to visit one of the local clubs that I haven't been to in years, to meet one of our fellow SW'ites

And she says the kitchen is awesome, so I'm having dinner out too

After that I'm off to my regular SC hangout to visit a couple of friends in from Florida!!

Not Easter things, but fun nonetheless...

Yay! I get to go have dinner at my grandmother's tonight...we usually have lunch, but she was in the church Easter program thing...so...dinner it is!

My story: When I was younger, my cousin (who's my age) and I would hide eggs for the younger kids. Before we'd go hide them we'd figure out which ones had money in them, and then we'd tell the little ones that if they didn't find the money eggs that we'd get to keep the money and split it between the two of us. We hid the money eggs in a birdhouse, in a pipe that was part of a clothesline, IN A BUCKET OF WATER, and other assorted places that made it difficult for the little "shorties" to get to. We were mean...

no kidding? what do you use in your recipe, Voltaire? i have a home made one that consists of the huge shells (of course) and i stuff them each with a leaf of fresh spinache, a slice of mozzerella, swiss, or provelone, and fill them the rest of the way with a home made sauce (made with ricotta, very similar to lasagna sauce), then pour the left over sauce on the top and layer with any of the cheeses above..or all lol. i love my cheese! simple but oohhh soooo good.
