Default Enjoying Exoctic Dancing for the art and entertainment....

Is not exotic dancing supposed to abe about art and entertainment... Is really what dancing should be about? That is what burlesque was all about.. I am shocked that exotic dancing has stooped so low to the point of near prosititution with "dancers" rubbing themselves against men that they dont know in back rooms in order to sexauly arouse them. or even the idea of erousing the audiance to to sexaul exicitement. Is not exotic supposed to be a about good clean legal fun? Not about women exploting themselves just to make a buck?
I am reading that in Buffalo NY the Palace theater was not just about burlesque but in addition to stripping acts they had live jazz and comedy too.
Can we bring that back? Give me a big Buffet,,,,Hot Jazz and Dancers with Talent
and now with Casnios coming back Slots and Blackjack! and we a have the resipie to bring back Downtown.....However with the indoor smoking laws....we still have a problem

    I'd say that's an understatement.
Burlesque dancers didn't work for free either. Dancers dance for money. Even a squeeky clean dancer has to do more to earn a buck than most Burlesque dancers had to do back then. I've been clubbing long enough to see the evolution from four song sets where a woman actually stripped over the course of 15 or 20 minutes (1st song gown, 2nd song langerie, 3rd song bottoms only, 4th song nude floor work) to seeing dancers buck naked by the midpoint of the first song and bent over or spread-eagled for most of a two or three song set. The process didn't change because dancers where getting tired or wanted to be naked longer, it evolved because guys wheren't tipping until the g-string came off. Dancers wised up and got naked faster, club owners wised up and brought in more girls so guys wouldn't get bored and leave.
If you want a perpetual tease go to Hooters. If a strip club tried regressing to the way things where 20 or 30 years ago it would close down pretty quickly.
