Josie, I knew two girls who used to work at my old club that would never take their g string off and the Custies seemed to enjoy them the most. I think in your case it really depends on the club. Guys are going to be expecting T&A at a fully nude club.
A little off topic, but I'm pretty integrated in the "acting world" and could share some advice with you about how stripping has personally affected me on that level... please please feel free to PM me if you want to talk about it... it's a little too specific to talk about on a main forum (plus could reveal a few too many personal details about myself... but I'm more than happy to share privately).
I kind of feel the same way that you do. I have always wanted to be a dancer and my sis is one (krchab99) and she loves it and thinks i would too. But I am nervous about being fully nude, because I think it would be weird to be 100% naked in front of a bunch of people I don't even know! I also am worried about people finding out and judging me by it and am worried because I have a 2 month old son and am deathly afraid that someone will find out and get him taken from me, because I've heard horror stories of that too!! I am extremely worried about all of those things... PM me if you want and we can talk.
Having two friends that are dancers eases my worries, although as their situations are different to mine i feel i need to seek further advice from outsiders
I work in an all nude club, and you get used to being nude after a while. The first time getting on stage is the hardest, cuz you're not quite sure what to do and when to take your clothes off, but after that first time, it gets much easier.
As for turning to drugs and prostitution, just keep your head on straight and you'll do fine. There may be drug use or prostitution going on around you, just don't get sucked into it. Just say no to the drugs and don't give in. No one is going to push you to use drugs. They may ask, but they'll never force. If you say no, they won't care, cuz that's just more for them.
For friends and family finding out, just remember- you have to do what's best for you. You are an adult and are entitled to make your own decisions. Other people may not like what you are doing, but if this is the best way for you to make money and support yourself, and this is what you really want to do, then just think about that, and don't worry about what others think. My parents are pretty cool with what I do. I'm sure they would be happier if I were doing something else, but they know that I make good money, that I like my job (most of the time) and that I'm putting myself through school. They realize that I'm an adult and can make my own decisions, and they respect that.
Good luck!
Take the road less traveled- just make sure you have a map.

Just have a strong mentally when going into a business such as this. Go there to work make money and mind your own business. Don't get caught up in whatever bullshit might be going on that day in time in the club. As for girls doing drugs and prostituting thats their business, just don't get caught up in that bad habit lifestyle working in this Industry.
What about her future career being affected? Alias' only last for a while before someone would recognise you, someone influencial. Having said that, im a dancer and putting myself through law school because of it. So i can't help but constantly think "Stripping has the power to get me where i need to be faster and without a greater impact on my study time but it could also, in the future, take it away...."
I guess what it comes down to is how prepared you would be to deal with a situation involving your past arising in the future....?
As for my own venture, will i guess im somewhat of a hypocrite talking about all this![]()
I'm also dealing with wondering how stripping would affect my future career. If I do it, dancing is going to put me through veterinary school. In such a competitive field, I don't think it'd be that far-fetched for another student or prospective hiree competing for the same job to try to dig up some dirt.
I was just like you when I was contemplating dancing. I say go for it.I haven't regretted my decision yet!
