Well in the spirit of other threads such as "worst dance ever", "best dance ever", "tackiest stripper move", etc., I've decided to share my experience last week of what I thought was the stupidest song I've heard in a SC, and see what everyone else thinks.
Other than hardcore rap, I generally like almost any music played in SCs. However, I expect it to be either reasonably modern, or very classic rock. Last week I was heading into VIP song no. 3 with my ATF, when I heard the three tremelo entry chords to "Crimson and Clover" by Tommy James & the Shondells. WTF I asked? My gal said there was a new dancer there who danced to this song every day on stage. I guess oldies have their place, but bubble gum pop from 1968??? Maybe some folks like this stuff, but I have dubbed it "The Stupidest Song I've Ever Heard in a SC!"
I did explain to my ATF about how every kid that had an electric guitar in 1968 wanted an amp with two things: tremelo and reverb...., just so they could play Crimson and Clover. Somehow I grew past it......
cri-i-i-i-i-mso-o-on and clo-o-ov-er, o-o-o-v-e-e-r and o-o-o-v-e-e-r..
ACKKKKK! There, I feel much better.![]()
So, what's the stupidest song you've ever heard in a strip club?
