    Default attracting submissive/fetish customers

Some girls complain about these guys, but by in large they are my favorite customers by far. Easy to please, relatively respectful, less grabby, and generally well-off. I attract some submissive guys already, maybe because I have a certain look -- tall and athletic, reheaded -- or maybe because I'm pretty dominant in my private life and some guys can pick up on it. I'd really like to be the go-to dancer for these types; I understand the lifestyle and know how to cater to these guys. The ones who've danced with me in the past often become regulars for this reason. I'm just wondering how to attract more of them.

I've considered changing my look to accomodate the typical domme stereotype -- black and leather and fetish clothes. But my concerns are a) scaring off the vanilla guys -- there probably aren't enough fetish guys around on any one night to make it worthwhile to cater just to them, and b) is a wardrobe change enough or is there something else I can do?

Have you considered incorporating subtle domme elements into your stage?

Maybe jewelry? Like a leather wrist cuff or a chain choker?

Its tough. You have to GET the subbie men into the club first. Honestly? The ratio of subbie men to non kink men isnt that good to begin with. And yes, doing the Domme look a lot might scare off the more mainstream customers. You're best bet is to advertise yourself and your schedul to submissive men in your area via forums and mailing lists that cater to the kinky in your area.

Just carry yourself in your normal dominant way, and they'll find you. They always find me. Advertising your schedule online is a great idea too.

It's the red hair Grace. Every redhead on this site I swear has told a good fetishist story.

You don't need to change your outfit. Strip clubs are an environment where the female gets to be the aggressor, and that alone should attract submissives. Some guys in fact prefer that their dom look modest in appearance (well in this case, stripper modest). What you do have to do is to know how to spot these guys and learn how to prod them to see what their trigger is.

In my experience, the guys who ask for such things in a strip joint and the guys who approach fulltime pro dommes (such as someone who has a mistressblank.com website and places her ads on maxfisch.com) can be VERY unlike each other. That's a generalization, but I'm going to make it.

For awhile I wore a pair of nipple clamps around my neck as a necklace. Most guys, even some subbie guys, didn't notice them, so I didn't put off any mainstream customers. The ones who did notice it, even if they weren't particularly into nipple clamps, picked up on it and were amused and attracted.

However, if you're having fun now, you may not need to change a thing. I stopped wearing the clamps eventually, it started to feel unnecessary and silly, but it was great fun for awhile.

As a sub, I've always found the traditional Domina outfits -- leather, chains, spiked chokers -- to be a complete turnoff.

That is what submissives with foot and/or heel fetishes look for. And we tend to wear such things anyways. Thus, the stripper shoe.

Well, me too. I am dominant, standing straight up in sock feet, and always have been, so the idea of "dressing like" a dominant is more than a little silly. On the other hand, there's not a lot of room for subtlety in the strip club world.

Paige, your website seems like a good idea...I'd love to know if it brings in much business for you.
