Default my manager has fallen for me

I work in a high profile club in london, get paid well, I have been blessed with the natural ability to hustle dances and have been told that I am dangerously sexy. Im also a showgirl so I dont have to pay any kind of house fee so everythings great except my manager is on my tail, he wants us to have a secret relationship and I simply dont feel comfortable with it.
Anyway to cut a long story short two weeks ago he poured his heart out about his feelings towards me which left me stunned, overwhelmed even.
I have hustled in various clubs before landing a job here but never earned as much as I do now so I really do not want to leave. I am now worried that if I decline his propsal things will get messy and I may end up having to leave or get the boot!
I do like my manager but not enough to engage in any sort of relationship with him and Im known for not mixing business with pleasure because the ending is never a happy one!
This situation is crazy and I never thought it would happen to me, these are the kind of situations I see on t.v!
Advice from close friends have been great but I need some advice from dancers that have been in this situation or from dancers that can relate and I happened to come across this site, so please, if u feel that u could advise me on how to delicately handle this MESS I would be more than greatful.

    cheers...

seeing that he has poured his "heart" out to you, he seems like a "sensitive" and "understanding" man (notice my hesitation in believing this). to me it sounds like he has poured his heart out to many girls in the past, club managers as a rule (i am stereo-typing) are not the type to go pouring out true feelings to strippers, they have been there, done that and are very wise and influential people who know how to get what they want

next time he mentions his feelings to you, you have to be ASSERTIVE in dealing with it. Tell him that while you are extremely flattered by his admission, he must understand the implications that arise due to the circumstance. you feel you are putting yourself into a difficult situation by jeopardising the harmonious working environment you have found at the club and you dont want to create animosity between the girls and have rumours arise.

If he is a rational man, he will respect your decison, if he is not, you will probably have to find somewhere else to go because he will not let up. you are in a difficult situation but smart dancers will be able to wriggle their way out of it without jumping into bed to keep their job

I think you should tell him the concerns you have posted here. He sounds like he should be able to understand.
